Will the Uyo Stadium light up like the Allianz arena in which it was modeled After as shown on this pic? We will soon find out on the 6th of November 2014 when the stadium will officially open its door to the public

PDP bound to lose Akwa Ibom as it backs Akpabio imposition of succesor, others Members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party have taken a position on the zoning of governorship position in Akwa Ibom State. In a surprise move aimed at silencing opponents of Governor Godswill Akpabio, the party said only candidates from Eket Senatorial Zone would be allowed to vie for the party’s governorship seat in the state.
