amazingfortune: My question was previously answered by damkolins in a post on page 105. However, I am still a bit unclear. Will I need experience certificates from all employers during the last 10 years for which I am not claiming points? I get full points under the current occupation and have a detailed experience certificate. Please suggest if I would still be needing experience certificates from previous employers in the last 10 years?I believe solomonwis already answered up now. If you present experience letters for just 6 years out of 10 years, you will get your full points and will not be punished for not having experience letters for the 4 years remaining. Cheers. 1 Like |

Good morning everyone. I just realized this morning that 2 of the 3 companies that wrote reference letter for me included their company's registration number in their letter head but the most recent company i worked for did not and I was going to post my documents today. The question is should I request for fresh documents from them or just submit the one I have? How important is the registration number in this process? @damkollins @solomonwis |

Once your experience letters conform to the requirements....don't waste your precious time on the inclusion of registration number on it. Cheers. 1 Share

You have to read the requirements to understand what they expect from you and IELTS is one of the key requirements to demonstrate proficency in English. To my knowledge i believe its not negotiable kunlerulz: |

You can check the CIC website to see the responsibilities and the ensure that yours align with it.Do not copy the job duties word for word. I heard a dummy copied it and was banged . In addition, you can address it to "Whom it may Concern" 2. You have to provide reference letters from places you've worked in the past 10 years that align with your NOC. |

Hi guys. I need clarification. If the work experience that qualifies me for the application was gotten like 4 years ago and I am presently working in another field that is totally different from the first one. Should I still provide reference letter from the present employer or only from the previous employer whose job I'm using as my NOC ? Thanks |

Finally! I have barely had enuff sleep for d past two days all in the name of jacking thru page 1 up till this very page. Oh well, in the end it is all worth it as I have learnt a lot from all of u guys. Big ups to our special advisers in the house; Solomonwis, Ferdimako, Damkollins and a whole lot of u guys. You are doing a wonderful job leading ppl in the right path. As a single guy with jst a Bsc and 26mnths wrk experience I am seriously considering doing the TEF french proficiency exams in lagos to earn me extra 4 pts under language proficiency.(Hmmm c'est risque!) Seems am 'OYO' in this one cos no one has said anything about french study materials here.I jst started learning a little bit of french a few mnths nw. Pls does anyone knw some1 who is contemplating writing this french exam on the 30th of nxt mnth? I need to knw if its worth taking d risk. The funny thing is that Alliance francais (the examining body) in lagos doesn't even have a prep class for d exams. PLS kindly help me send IELTS prep materials to my email add; ask4gzay@yahoo.com. I need to nail ielts exam real hard! Thanks in advance evry1. Feels like family in here ...Merci mille fois! Du courage! Que Dieu vous benise! 1 Like |

Good morning all, can someone assist me with vital info on how to make WES payments as the two options available are 1. Money order and 2. Credit card. I have tried using my debit card but nothing positive. Please, someone should assist with a way out. Someone should kindly assist as I have been stuck with the payment for days now. For those that paid to WES please how did you go about it |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 7:20am On Sep 23, 2014 |
faskare: Good morning all,Most applicants used credit/debit card for registration with WES so I'm surprised that yours is not responding positively. Have you try to ask a friend of yours for his or her card to use it while you pay back later? Which banking institution issued your card? Other options as laid down by WES is below.... To pay by cheque:Payment must be drawn on a chequing account maintained at a bank in Canada. Make cheque out to World Education Services.....Please indicate your name and WES reference number on the cheque. Payment must be received by WES before your evaluation can be completed. To pay by money order:Payment must be in Canadian dollars and drawn on a bank located in Canada. Make money order out to World Education Services. Please indicate your name and WES reference number on the money order. Payment must be received by WES before your evaluation can be activated. Send your cheque or money order to the address below by courier: World Education Services 2 Carlton Street, Suite 1400Toronto, Ontario M5B 1J3 Canada You can send your degree certificate with either option you pick to reduce your stress with a small covering note to explain it. Cheers. |
