Many thanks for your response.

Yes, the car runs fine. May I add that the display unit does not come on as well but the radio, Bluetooth and other function works well.

After another scan with another machine, I got a U1000 error message.

Burnt fuse - check fuse box by the driver side.

Can you scan the ride for error codes?
You should replace the air filter and clean the spark plugs if you don't have the funds to replace them.

Good evening all,

My 2008 Infiniti g35 is sluggish in both drive and reverse. After scan, I got a P1564 error message pointing to ASCD steering switch. What’s this switch, where is it located?

Thank you

Good Morning ..

Please I got the following issues with my FX 45 ..
I got it last year..
a. Once I start it (first time) it starts ok with cool sound. But if I off it and then restart it again, I must kick the throttle to keep it running or it goes off by itself

b. I took it to my village, a journey of 1 hour, I noticed that it over-heated ..I have to allow it to cool down before driving that day.

C. On my way to the village, i noticed that the movement was sluggish,i even noticed that the the gear display monitor on the dashboard was blink with no display but after leaving it for 20mins...it will show again with the movement moving well..

D. The tyre wasn't good because it was shaking But I bought two new tyres.

Funny enough, since that experience during last year Christmas ,I packed it in my house in the village .

Though I later scanned it with the details below

Let mechanic check for vacuum leaks and clean the mass airflow sensor

Check for leakages in the cooling system starting from the radiator.

Possible vacuum leaks and faulty oxygen sensor on the front passenger side. Clear codes and see if they return. Check color and level of transmission fluid.

nwaozzugwor:

Though I later scanned it with the details below

P1031, P1148 - possible vacuum leak and faulty oxygen sensor on the front passenger side.

P1065 - Clear code and see if it will return.

P0463 - Confirm if your fuel gauge is working well. If it is, all the symptoms may just be pointing to a failing fuel pump.

Good day lovely people of this beautiful forum.
Pls I need una assistance with my car. It all started that whenever I start driving the car for the first 20-30mins if I don't rev the car high to like above 3000 the car will be jerking gently kind of, and if I check the rev meter too it will see the needle going up and down small small, but after driving for a while it will stop and the car will move very well. Since this is not a major issue I kept using it that way till I will have time to visit the mech not until few days ago that while I was going back him in the night the car stops accelerating, like I press the throttle but it will not respond all I am hearing is a clicking sound under the carpet of the seat beside the driver in front. Once i press acceleration and the car want to respond I will just hear the click sound and the car will not respond to me again, then I off the engine and light then start it again this time the acceleration just respond a little above the 1000 rev on the meter then the car start to move small small till I got home that night. The following morning the car drives like nothing happened to it the previous night but I took it to my mech who said I should go and scan it, which I did and the person said something that one wire has cut somewhere or something and he fix it the check engine light on the dashboard went off and the car temp meter that doesn't work before start to work. Also the fan start to work in auto mode because before when I on the engine the fan will start immediately, but now the fan might not start for the first 30-1hr of driving and when it start it will be working in low speed (don't know if it is normal )though no overheating .
Now the problem is I am not sure what he fix is what is affecting the gear problem and the issues I face the other night while going home. And I don't want it to happen like that again before I fix the issue permanently which is why I want to seek the opinion of car gurus on this platform. Thanks in anticipation for your input.
Also I use to hear like a thud sound whenever I engage D or R
The car is nissan sunny 2011

Scan and share the codes. It seems your fan has been restored to factory mode so you have nothing to worry about. As for the thud, check engine mounts.

Hi guys.

I'm considering getting a 2010-2012 Infiniti FX35 (picture of spec attached) before the end of this year.

I'd like to know what to expect in terms of cost of maintenance, availability of parts, recommended garages, etc.

Thank you.

Hello guys, good day.
Please, anyone know of a specialised Nissan mechanic for my QX4 2000 model, based in Warri?
Apparently, one of my plugs doesn't get current supplied to it, causing the vehicle to jerk lightly on acceleration, and also I need someone who knows his onions from pepper, to fix my steering beam. The steering is very stiff.
Thanks.

Quote me on a dead thread with your number and I’d have a competent mechanic call you for the fix.

Yes, not all car fuel tanks, also depends on the tank location

thanks. for a G35 for instance. the tank is under the back seat.
I'm told the exhaust need to be cut for the tank to come down and I don't really want all that damage in my absence.
so I want to know if there's another technique or liquid that can do a trick.

Remove the seat, fuel pump assembly has to come out then either drain the fuel from the external tank drain hole under the vehicle or look for a manual way to pump out excess fuel (hose and a bucket should do)

You would need big foam, I don't need to tell you no flammable object near the work place. What you would likely see is muddy petrol towards the bottom, rusted metal fillings, the foam can be used to remove all these and petrol is a good detergent in washing the tank.

Use foam to remove remaining dirt, bolt back the fuel pump assembly, pour your clean fuel back, that's all.

As long as the fuel pump can come out from the back seat, I don't see the need to drop the tank, foam would get yo all corners even if the tank is compartmental.

Tank doesn't need to come down. Remove the fuel pump on the right and sending unit on the left. The size of the two holes are wide enough for an average hand to manoveur.
