Cowboy43: undecided Am nt suprised soon the Hausas will also start ranting..WE BUILD ABUJA WITH OUR OWN SWEAT

na wa for u.
if all of us flock to Abuja and burden the infrastructure to the extent that it becomes one big dilapidated slum. and the Hausas start to build it again and develop it back again, then yes, they build it with their sweat.

london has at least 3 airports servicing it -heathtrow,gatwick and stanstead. so another in lagos may be sound. the new seaport can take in massive ships called post panamax which apapa can not take. this is the best time to buy land in that area.

All we ever hear is that they are constructing or building something not that it has been completed or opened. The only one I remember is the toll bridge, mainly the tolling part.

For your info most of this project that are being executed in lagos is a form of master plan that was drawn since the days of Gov lateef jakande. Any region that want to be successful need this form of master plan which can be follow over a long period of time. Fashola is just following the plan and the same tinubu did when he was the gov

Gbam! That's why CONTINUITY is a good thing. Over the last few decades, Nigerian leaders at all levels usually abandon policies/projects initiated by their predecessors. This has done more harm than good to the economy.

Actually they don't.

You know this because you are a town planner

You know this because you have growth projection and economic date for Lagos state?

Aside from the funds to build the new airport, we don't need 2 airports in the same state competing against each other.
As for the FAAN remodeling, most of those airports would be shut down because they are not contributing to the economy.

We actually give a damn about your dirty and obsolete eye sore called MMA. How many time have we begged to let us take over that rubbish and maintain it properly? We've spent so much money fixing that airport road and still waiting to get reimbursed by the worthless and incompetent owners so why should our hopes, desires destiny and economic future be tied to that tired and neglected infrastructure with busted plumbing, dangling light bulbs and florescent lights.

They can uproot that rubbish and take to Abuja, who cares really..

No, we need a modern airport to complement our renewal and take us to the next level and we have more than enough need and capacity to support it from largest population in Nigeria to the largest trade zone in west africa, refinery and energy capital, West Africa's financial capital, Eko atlantic, the largest deep seaport in West Africa.

Speak for your ignorance and not for Lagosians abeg..

"The Lekki-Epe International Airport is designed to handle about five million passengers annually with provision for a modular terminal for future expansion. Preliminary works on the airport project have commenced with the clearing of 150 hectares (runway), 4.5km of the access road and 9km of perimeter road.

^^^^ It seems they are about to put the hometown, Epe, on the map.

Damn!! That's real estate cash-cow in the nearest future - Epe gatts the juice now and money in the bank.

Hale Epe!

Hale Lagos!! cool

So can we also uproot all Federal Government employees?? lmao!

The same MMA you rubbished would have died a drastic death if not for T.B Joshua (an Ondo man).. Most people coming in to Lagos via that airport came to see T.B Joshua, not your Fashola... (Out of every 5 visitors, 3 came to meet T.B Joshua, an Ondo man).

You see, until you learn to respect other people's tribe, opinions and views, you'll never stop been a f00l..

Have you also taken your time to ponder about the likely benefactor and beneficiary of this massive projects?

We all know those who will only sit back collecting tax and those that will count their containers..

It won't harm you a bit if you swallow your pride a lil and praise the F.G.. The same F.G you hate so much comprises of people all over the federation including Lagosians..

Stop disgracing this nation.
