You can dispute my claim instead of coming up with this whole "You really need to travel". You've still not answered my question. Why are Nigerians in the UK coming back in their drives if the UK is as sweet as you'd want us to believe.

All that exaggeration is coming from your head, there is no truth in it, Nigerians are not leaving the UK in numbers as you claimed. You are just making things up as you go.

I can compare Nigeria to the UK ten times over. Yes, our infrastructure are nearly dead. Yes, we don't have power. Yes, our educational system is an disarray. But even in the midst of all these, Nigerians in Nigeria are doing better than Nigerians in the UK(FACT) and we're not exploited like the UK government does over there. We just need to get a few things right and that's it. The UK may have all these infrastructures but citizens use them are a very high cost. People make money but the UK government collects it from there. It's a case of monkey they work, baboon dey chop. Let's stop over-estimating the importance of the UK. Even in Europe, a lot of countries are ahead of the UK in almost every ramification and a case in point in Germany. UK does not talk when Germany is talking.

What!!! Everything is dead in Nigeria mate! Nigeria is hell on earth. You say the UK exploits its citizens but at least they value the life of every individual, kill a homeless guy and see how the police hunt you down like an animal.

But in Nigeria

1 - The government doesn't like you, they don't care about you, your life is worth less than $1, you have no rights, you don't have basic amenities

2 - No jobs to even earn a living, talk much of tax

3 - Nigeria ranks amongs the richest countries based on resources but its citizens ranks amongst the poorest.

In terms of education, a common community college in the UK is more funded, more sophisticated, more equipped than the best federal or state Uni in Nigeria.

As for the Europe, you don't know sh*t about the EU. Europe is divided into two( in economic terms) the Eurozone ( they all use a common currency, the Euro) and non-Eurozone. Germany you mentioned, yeah they seem to have the highest clout in the EU because they are the largest economy in the Eurozone coupled with their intrinsic German discipline whereas the UK isn't in the Eurozone, it's maintains its currency the pounds.

1 - The UK is a nuclear state, Germany isn't
2 - The UK is number two in NATO
3 - The UK has a permanent seat in the UN sec council, Germany doesn't

4 - The UK still has military bases in Germany

Technically, Germany is a baby where the UK stands

The UK has been left behind by the world. There's very little to celebrate in that country.

What do you have in 'other world' that is lacking in the UK?

adaobi123: Interesting campaign.

But I think some people will need to be forcibly removed though, I don't think they will just leave because a van says so.
grin

Any incentive to encourage people who might want to leave the poorer-by-the-day UK?

lol this boy you funny, let me draw your attention back to make you a wee bit silly, you remember when you went to check your cut off mark for banking and finance at Unilag, what did you see there? your name was not there even though you scored above 50 and names there scored bellow 50 and you wanted to take Uni lag to court, U don forget?.Now that was 2008, I believe you wil still be in school that is if you got in that year or strike would prolong your schooling, and you think Nigeria is even %30.However Im wont dispute the fact that people get money in Nigeria but aint they duping the system? people collect taxes on behalf of government and dont remit to govt.Look there is nothing like being your own Boss, thats what we all should aspire to become, we all cant be Job seekers no haven said all that, you need innitial capital and a good head to set up any Biz, thats what we come to the Uk to look for, how long that will take is another issue but in all its surely faster than Nigerias unless you to want to induldge in dubious activities

Afam4ever is the only thing becoming redundant here.

Hunger and desperation is killing naija o. There is a healthy 20% enjoying. The other 80% are in deep sufferation.

If remittances were withdrawn from the Naija economy from UK, US etc...even Jonathan would not leave the villa without a drone, blackhawk and 2 battalion escort.

Case in point ; Last year, I went to an Alhaji's mansion in Lagos... had 4 luxury cars in his compound and said he cannot drive any due to robbers. I asked him why he does not sell the cars and invest it in business start-ups for the youth. He said that his guests need to see he is wealthy as it acts as a form of social guarantee/trust for future deals. SMH. 2 of the cars were stolen in March 2013. Net sum - nigeria loses more money to foreign exchange.

Alhaji does not leave home after 9pm. Go to UK, you will see a poor man walking freely at midnight, no fear. i know who has a richer life, free to come and go as they please.

a lot of nigerians there don't even have the money to leave even if they wanted to so they might even prefer deportation.@least, they won't have to pay a dime
Re: UK Launches Campaign Urging Illegal Immigrants Go Home by claremont(m): 12:44pm On Jul 30, 2013
The current ''Con-Dem'' government in the UK is gradually starting to toe the line of Australia in pursuing racist policies against immigrants. The fact of the matter is that the reason there are illegal immigrants in the UK is primarily due to the failure of the UKBA to perform their job. If they do what they are paid to do, then there wouldn't be a need for this campaign in the first place.

The NHS employs 'them' in good faith, there is no indication that they are illegal immigrants, papers presented are all genuine, so NI will be paid to the govt.

Dodgy companies who employe illegal immigrants do that purely for financial gain, those illegal workers will not be in their payroll, its cash-in-hand, this is not the case with the NHS.

yes I agree the majority are suffering in nigeria but a good reason many of the nigerian immigrants in uk are seemingly able to "cope" there is because they get pity and help from other nigerians already there who many times are illegal immigrants.Even when u get a study visa or something to the uk,the duration is set so that it expires just about a month after you graduate making it difficult to get employment there so its obvious they don't want you around.their recent immigration laws buttresses on that fact.the truth is the standard of living is a lot better than here but its highly overrated.Even the citizens would confirm that so kinni big deal?

When all fails, you resort to taking cheap shots. If you have anything to contribute to the topic of discourse of refute some claims that i have made, do that on this thread and stop shifting the goal post. I'm not here to entertain tomfoolery. I'm here to expose the mediocrity that is the UK.

that is very true from sources that got it very recently.Except ur source's from ppl that got it years ago.Of course they'd be some exceptions but I'm talkin about the greater majority. Those that eventually stay there afterwards are those that have to come back and succeed in getting their visa's renewed.
