They ordered before us, in Paris.

Burma has ordered FC1 not JF17

in laymans terms burmese jets will be coming out of Chinese production lines with 100% Chinese components except for the engine and maybe the ejection seat.

I read somewhere(I think it was Defenceweb and a few other sites) that Zimbabwe is also interested in acquiring the FC1 "fighting Dragon"

Deathmachine has cleared this one up. He said himself as well as his colleagues are satisfied with it.

The FN-FAL should go to that role of DMR.

Confirmation biase, hence irrelevant

One platform, multiple roles, means logistical superiority and simplified training practices. Would you also like different guns for the carbine and SAW role?

maybe
but i am not aware of it.
also if china gives soft loans than it becomes an attractive proposition for the Zimbabweans

i was aware of Burmese acquisition even before it come out in the open. grin

They can only afford to feed their soldiers one or two meals a day

Not going to happen

bro its equally a sh1tty idea to order 400k plus rifles from abroad abi u no c am as I de c am

I hope DICON produces 5.56 too cuz the Tavor is here to stay

hopefully I would prophecy more things to b built grin

Well as it happens, the Nigerian army would order 90k rifles top. There are other things we should be producing ,rifles shouldn't be one of them.

There are simply so many good choices available. If country A says no to a sale, we simply move to country G, that's how widely available rifles are.

Not so much for heavy equipment, APC and ammo which takes time to deliver. We should straighten up our priorities.

Anyway, we'll all wait and see how the production line progresses. However what is actual fact is the M762 Beryl would be made in Nigeria.

I agree for a production line for the Tavor-21 round.

I've even forgotten about this, nobody actually knows how many we really got. The FN FAL could be a nice compliment.

Dude, give it a rest. The guy who uses it confirms he is okay with it. He also confirms his mates share the same view. That's all that matters.

We already have the FAL in huge numbers. Adding polymer and a scope would improve general efficiency and outlay instead of simply discarding them.

For SAW, the platform is already uniform, with units taking in more modern and lighter variants but all still chambered in the usual 7.62x39mm.

You make the Galil in South Africa and call it the R4, it doesn't mean it's not a Galil, it is still a Galil.

thats old news

new news is I*I is training Rohingya people to hit 3 countries (in***, ban******, my*****) in the region which ultimately like all terrorist groups will hit everybody (globally) in the end.

intel groups of the 3 countries r on high alert since last 1-2 year. massive surveillance

Thailand and other countries have already been alerted

some forget that terrorists r like snake one day they strike the same hand that feed them grin

DAMN lol.. 150km range. Shiit is too much for a handheld Radio coms to carry.
They can communicate with base stations. However he backpack radio should be able to pick up to 32-50km and communication depends on terrain.

1. Still confirmation bias, he hasn't handled anything else to compare it to. If you had been driving a 30 year old beetle you would think a 20 year old VW polo was just fine

2. PKM is a GPMG not a SAW, RPD and RPK are 7.62 SAWs both are obsolete.

3. Accurized FALs are only a stop-gap solution. Most military grade FALs get an M.O.A of 3, at best, (realistically we are talking 6) their bolt assemblys are too tight, free-floating the barrel doesn't help because of the piston and then there is the fact that most barrels have had thousands of rounds through them - they will never be tight enough for accuracy. To truly accurized it you would have to have a skilled gunsmith spend hours and hours on each individual gun.

As usual you make comments that are lacking in any common sense.

Here are some of the rifles the troops have handled before settling for the M762
