Fighting erupted in  the House of Representatives on Tuesday when   seven governors loyal to the New Peoples Democratic Party visited  the House in Abuja.



A member of the House  from Bayelsa State, Mr. Henry Ofongo, was punched and shoved repeatedly by his colleagues for daring to  oppose  the visit. His  jacket  was pulled off  by some members.

Most of the members who crowded Ofongo, were from Kano State, including Mr. Aminu Suleiman, Mr. Baballe Murktar, Mr. Ali Madakaki and Mr. Ado Dogoa.

Mr. Dakuku Peterside and Andrew Uchendu, both from Rivers State, also shoved Ofongo, preventing him from moving close to the high table.

In the ensuing fracas, other members , who were in solidarity with Ofongo, attempted to throw chairs.

One of the lawmakers, who lifted a chair but was prevented from throwing it, was Mr. Ini Udoka from Akwa Ibom State.

This is good for our country

In as much as i hate pdp and love d crisis rocking d party, i stil dont want their display of shamelessness in the name of representing us.
Afterall the G-7 govnors/baraje faction wrote to the NASS , they were invited in respect of their letter by leaders of both the lower and upper chamber. Of course, they are nigerians and they must b accorded this right to air their grievances. What happened to the freedom of speech and association? Why were they shouted down by the pro-gej/tukur in the house? Does it run in the blood of gej supporters to attack or display anathema whenever one holds opposing view to theirs? D last time an identical event happened in river state house of assembly , the nass took over there. Now that same thing has happened here, who shld take over the house of rep?
An adage in my language says "unyi kuji kó , uji agulo ó" which means, "house built by crooks shall surely b brought down b d crooks" . This house(pdp) has indeed fallen!

Btw, who's the woman throwing punches at a member in that video? I saw oyinlola sitted very close to wher the woman was fighting from. Are they together?
