so this comparism has never stopped. Abagworo i've noticed that you like this, what again do you want, everybody believe that your imo state is far better than many states so lets spare this and this is the major reason why i dont want to open any thread for Abia state because these likes will come and tell me how more bad Abia is, which already i know. Afam do your work or i will take that moderation work from you. Inno thanks for your few pictures, i promise by next or 2wks i'll get some pictures of Umuahia for you all. |

You should have read before accusing me. I only wrote that I'm not impressed with what Peter Obi has done in Nnewi and I say it from my heart. I am a regular visitor to Nnewi for those who don't know and like I wrote earlier, my joy ride is on the Isseke road which was done by Ngige 8 years ago. You connect through Ihiala road from Owerri-Onitsha highway and after a short drive, you get to Isseke and make a turn to your left. 1 Like |

Abagworo:Mr traveller just shut it. You claim to have travelled far and near but your posts here are mostly annoying. You are no different from chino, infact you are worse cos you are a chameleon. Everyone knows chino is not very okay, why not shun him whenever he starts his rants. You two are a disgrace to the ndigbo on nairaland. Ifele mee gi 1 Like |

Am not from nnewi but Nnewi is d area of my alma mater. Nnamdi Azikiwe college of Medicine, Nnewi campus. . Ladies n Gents, am in luv with this town and its ppl. At least they listened to Ojukwu and decided to industrialise/commercialise their town instead of carrying d concept to kano, port harcourt, n Lagos . The town that produced d ibeto, innoson, chikason, Cutix grps of companies, etc. The town where the banks have deposits points busier dan d withdrawals; n most of d depositors carry money in ' Ghana-must -go' bags. - the town is d first in Anambra abi SE sef to carry out Invitro-Fertilization. . The place with d most impressive looking mansions in d state, even in their most 'off town' areas. . That aside, who are those asking for road markings, and using d absence of road markings to underscore peter Obi? Dem swear for una? Am not Obi's fan but How many non capital cities in naija has road markings? . @ Afam, am with Chino on this issue. Abagworo is more APC dan igbo and that is the worst form of 'Ofeke-ism' that ever existed. What nonsense. So, igbos cant talk on a normal platform again without party politics involved? He could not even defend d kind Rochas d saviour sef. And he has d guts to argue over d town i admire so much. *smh* Aside lagos, no APC controlled town is more prosperous dan Nnewi 4 Likes |

The Nnewi I know is very rich individually. Nnewi is a well coming home/town to all Ndigbo, this means that those at Nnewi market are doing well in their trade. You can find the best of mansions in all the 4 communities that makes up Nnewi(aka na ano Nnewi) Nnewi host the third largest automobile motorcyle spare parts in the whole world. fact. It is at Nnewi that a mere business man can single handedly built a church (Catholic to b precise) and throw the keys to the parish councils. lol But the church must/may shm bear their names...churches like St. Cletus built by Chief. Cletus Ibeto and St. louis built by Chief Louis Cater. Coming to development ; Nnewi town is too jam parked, there no space all, most building, shops, banks, etc are struggling with major road. If Nnewi were to be developed to a world standard many buildings will have to go,which most ppl there will kick against. The bitter truth is that erosion is ravaging the little land that was not been built up... which federal or state govt should look into and not just when they wanted to be( voted for they will remember that Nnewi exist. People celebrating mediocre in modern times. Anybody celebrating these pictures posted here must belong to the stone age. Since everybody on this forum has internet access, they should please search any town outside Nigeria online so as to see how wicked these so called politicians are.
