payless: God bless you! Maduka must have been doing this for a very long time. I pay to clear my goods from the port each time I send stuff to Nigeria. Maduka and many others have been doing this for long. Pastor Adeboye the conman, once got import waiver on his imports worth 400 million naira. And you see why they get richer everyday bragging as if it is their ingenuity and brilliance that got them to where they are today. The common man works round the clock and has nothing to show for it. Na God go punish them all especially all the past presidents. 3 Likes |

biafranqueen: I am not surprised at the allegations of Cosmos, he is a thief and everyone knows that Ubah paid him back with his own coin in Nnewi . Nnewi people in business know the real story behind his wealth. As for Stella the interest rate is so unbelievable I am disappointed in her, but I am not surprised they are all thieves and she is now paying for breaking protocol you can't play someone else's game by your rules. She is finished! My sister, Maduka is a fool! Everytime Ibo guys brag about their industriousness and economic makeover they always, always put Coscharis up there as a billboard of how brilliant and hardworking Ibos are at surviving and excelling. I have a suggestion for all the Ladipo and ASPAMDA and Alaba apprentices that lookup to Maduka as the brand, the flag bearer of Ibo industriousness, you all need to get this dude a lawyer....and do it quick! First, he is unsophisticated and does not have a good grasp of the shyyt he is in. Second, he is talking too much and exposing his vulnerabilities. Third, he is underestimating the limitations sorrounding the case and does not seem to understand the risks involved. Fourth, he should never ask to see and verify the BMWs with the House Speakers......thats like asking them to prove his guilt. They will! Then what....? 2 Likes |

This country is doomed. I wish our discussions and rants here can change a thing. I just feel sad about what this country holds for my son. Its high time the youths stand up n take d bull by its horn. We cant sit back n let ethinicity..tribalism..curruption eat into our very reason of existence. I THINK NIGERIA REALLY NEEDS A REVOLUTION. Its ok, those of U who commented through the night should take a break & go get a sleep while those of us who are just waking up should be allowed to take the centre stage of the Odualgate, we all know that nothing will come out from these accusations & counter accusations but then, before the dramatic display will over, some people will lost it, thank U all. |

It is the poor uneducated man that is forced to pay tax, tithe and school fees. The rich man gets import waivers, tax holidays for his business and fully paid government scholarship for his children to study in universities in Europe and North America. 2 Likes |

One runs the risk of a heart attack thinking about what these criminals from the pits of hell do to this country daily!! Imagine claiming vehicles imported were meant for a state govt just to obtain waivers when indeed they were meant for a Fed Govt parastatal. I thought waivers were meant for very essential materials like food stuffs, engineering materials, hospital equipments, and such other items. Why should govt grant waiver to a biznessman importing cars which he's gonna sell and make profit?? When did our govt turn santa claus?? How many waivers have ever been granted small time hustlers who import cars to sell to ordinary folks like you and I? Everything about this country is warped!! You import small, you pay duty, import big and you are waived (even when govt loses more)!! Steal small, you are sent to the slammers, steal big and people protest in your defense and you are given a slap on the wrist and chieftaincy titles!! To even cover their tracks, they hurriedly found a similar BMW for the inspection of the house members, but alas, the chasis number was different!!! This whole thing reeks of FRAUD!!! Somebody has to answer!! 4 Likes |

The due process that Coscharis man was talking about (as I understand it) include 1. He got NSA and SSS clearance to import bullet-proof vehicles as required by law. 2. BMW through Coscharis sponsored the sport festival hosted by Lagos state government which means lagos will not pay a kobo for the vehicles. 3. In accordance with normal practice in such situation, the federal ministry of finance gave import duty waivers for the free (sponsor) vehicles. The duty waiver was not granted because the vehicles were imported for the state govt but because they were sponsor vehicles so as to reduce the cost to the sponsor. 4. At the end of the sport event, the used cars are supposed to be sold off at reduced prices. Any shortfall that remain is regarded as advertisement cost. Note that the new buyers are required to pay a pro-rated import duty (part of what was initially waived) to the Customs just like if you buy auctioned goods at the embassies. So it is not as if the Customs will lose everything. The inappropriate thing I could notice here is that not all the 300 vehicles that was promised for the sport event was imported for the event while the waiver authorization was used to import vehicles not related to the event. The report does not indicate what eventually happened to the used vehicles and if duty was eventually paid by the subsequent buyers. 2 Likes |

I got an information from a very reliable source that the BMW that Madam Stella Oduah were supplied were actually 2008 model.I know If this secret becomes open many people will be surprised.Imagine 2008 model for such amount (255M).Thieves full this country. How can Goodluck exonerate himself from being seen as a Grand Commander of thieves if he does take a decisive action on time. 1 Like |

adconline: Sorry to digress, 300 vehicles imported for sports festival? These must likely be BMWs since Coscharis does not sell "cheap" cars. How many were armored? Naija Can never be fixed! The rich and influential getting waiver while poor are being asked to sacrifice for a "better" Naija that can never come. That is why the bible asid it wil be difficult for a rich man to see the road to heaven not to talk of entering. |

Nigeria needs a revolution. All our leaders are meant to be exterminated apart from the few good ones. Noting works in our country. Until we start exterminating these looters, one by one without the judicial process being involved, nothing will change. We must force fear into these government cockroaches! We're in a disastrous state because of our greedy elites that want to see us bleed to death. The more we allow these goverment savages to walk away freely with their crimes, the more we remain stagnant as a nation. There is no rule of law in our country than honor among theives. President Jonathan is a useless leader...It's his destiny to destroy Nigeria. |

Coscharis admits telling the Ministry of Finance/NSA the cars were meant for Lagos state government, but said the arrangement was a usual “sponsor practice” for an event like the sports festival, and there was nothing wrong with that...... See daylight robbery of Nigeria. BLAME IT ON THE YORUBAS!!! |
