Nope, I will check synopsis and see if it is my kinda book

The book argues that, contrary to common feminist and women's rights rhetoric, women in industrialized cultures are not oppressed, but rather exploit a well-established system of manipulating men.

Vilar writes, "Men have been trained and conditioned by women, not unlike the way Pavlov conditioned his dogs, into becoming their slaves. As compensation for their labours men are given periodic use of a woman's vagina." The book contends that young boys are encouraged to associate their masculinity with their ability to be sexually intimate with a woman, and that a woman can control a man by socially empowering herself to be the gate-keeper to his sense of masculinity.

The author says that social definitions and norms, such as the idea that women are weak, are constructed by women with their needs in mind, and that praise is only given to a man when a woman's needs are met in some way.

Vilar claims that women can control their emotional reactions whereas men cannot, and that women create overly-dramatized emotional reactions to attempt to control men and get their way. She says that women "blackmail" men and use sex as a tool.

The book argues that women use traditions and concepts of love and romance, which are seen more positively than sex, to control men's sexual lives. Vilar writes that men gain nothing from marriage and that women, who are out to get men's money, coerce them into marriage under the pretense that it is romantic.

Must be quite a book, gotta read it grin grin grin grin grin

On this? I need all the lessons I can get.

I think the first step is to marry right. A supportive spouse.

This is a loaded question and my opinion will be quite open ended. To manage all three efficiently, your spouse not only has to be supportive but quite empathic too.

Like other ladies have said, marry a supportive and caring spouse and on your own you have to be prepared to :
1. work smart (e.g let other people help out in other things that they can do even if it means you have to pay)
2. be organised ( you will have to do a lot of planning especially planning ahead.
3.priorities what to do with your time ( know when to give home it's time and career it's time. Even around the home, you have to prioritise your house chores because trust me, sometimes you won't be able to do everything).
4. Know when to put your feet up and REST.

Will expand on it later,but mine is very different from the norm which might sound very weird to many here like most call it "sufferhead".

You can only attain it by being very organized and prioritize around the house.

as for the book,i have not read it but reading the summary you put up there,i think i like it.

@Naijababe:

I downloaded the book however, I have not gotten around to reading it. I think it is a two sided thing. She is probably referring to places where women are freely to explore themselves and let them know the 'power' they have

@babygirlfl..
True

@Cococandy,
Seat tight

@Edwife
Will be waiting

@Career & Home,
I think some ladies do not know how to prioritize, be creative and take their husbands for granted. E.g. is the thread of the woman who buys buka food everyday. Again, it depends on how the home is run. Some men do not mind that.
