Nonso23: To be honest eh... Although most women don't like to accept this fact but in the grander scheme of things a mother outranks a wife in a man's list of 'run-to' people. .(Unless the mother in question is a terrible one).

Forget all those 'i love you pass my mama' men say,truth is : There are many lines a mother would cross with her son (without him even batting as much as an eyelid) that a wife wouldn't even dare with her husband.

The decision of whom to marry is either directly or indirectly influenced by the mother. Indirectly; in the form the values she indoctrinated into him all his life regarding his choice of a spouse. Directly; by her outright approval or disapproval of his choice of women.
