all4naija: You are an i d i o t! Those who have been suffering from the effect of Ebola Virus Disease in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leon have not said that yet you are here peddling rumor. I don't know why you have to say something you can't prove with evidence. You are a primitive person indeed. Define rumor. Is Sawyer not an American? Was he not infected with Ebola Virus? Did he not come to Nigeria with Ebola Virus Disease? Did he not know he was infected with the virus before coming to Nigeria and while in Nigeria, having buried his own sister who died of the Disease with bare hands in Liberia? Did Nigerians not get infected through Sawyer? Did Sawyer not remove his giving set and splash fluid everywhere as reported? Did he not ask to be discharged to continue his 'journey' to Calabar when he knew he had a terrible virus on his body? Was there any reported case of Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria before the 'mad' American brought it to Nigeria? Note: Since 1976. Has there been any other reported case in Nigeria different from his and those he infected through contact till date? Did his wife not claim that he came to Nigeria to seek a better health-care? Is Nigeria's health-care better than America's, Sawyer's country? Why did he not proceed to America to have appropriate care for his disease? Two other similarly infected Americans were flown home and have been 'cured' with Zmapp. Are we in Guinea, Sierra Leone or Liberia? And what are they saying in those countries by the way? Do they know how a deadly virus suddenly 'jumped from the wild to a 2 year old boy' in Guinea? Oya, explain to us Mr. Civilizado Eslavo. 2 Likes |

porka:It is clear you aren't making sense as the term you chose to use in your previous comment, LACED! It suggested the man was possibly infected by the American government and sent to Nigeria to cause harm to the people. You went ahead to read wrong meaning to say the Ebola drug was WITHHELD from Nigerians. Meaning it was there but the American government was not willing to give it to the people of Nigeria. That aforementioned information above proves you have no single fact to support your primitive reasoning. Asking logical questions to divert attention from the underlying meanings to your previous comment is annoying to say the least. Your notion of Ebola in Nigeria is clear that you think it is designed by America to kill Nigerians. For your information, Sawyer is a Liberian American. Pointing finger at America without looking to where he contacted the disease and move from speak volume of your myopic view on this issue. You aren't helping in finding solution than blaming the wrong nation out of your misconception. 3 Likes |

honeychild: Are you kidding? Dr. Kent Brantly and Mrs. Nancy Writebol, two Americans like Sawyer were infected. Do you mean those are not enough to bring the world's attention to Liberia that their government had to try and bring deaths to uncountable number of people in Nigeria? And how has the three dose Zmapp sent to Liberia fared within the population? Has it cured the dozens that were let loosed by hoodlums' invasion of a quarantine clinic? |

chegx: we are the giants of Africa and we shall save the remaining three patients in isolation, we are smart, strong, resillient &toughtfull. We shall proceed to offer health support to other west african countries like guinea and liberia on ebola. Meanwhile USA be telling lies that they do not have enough Zmappshit serum when they are actually trying to sell the serum in a very expensive price to west Africa. If Ebola was an epidemic in their country they would've had more than enough shit serum for it. But Nigeria has spoilt their plan, they are now commending us so that we may expose the secret of our ebola treatment. we sef wise.meanwhile the ebola match is still on NIGERIATREATMENT 5 - ZMAPPSHITSERUM 2. at least the spanish priest died after being treated with Zmappshitserum, so their serum is not as accurate as our treatment that has saved the lives of 5 ebola patient. I will not and never loose hope in myself and my country. I do not blame the uS for their stance. But I blame our useless , hopeless and dead brain leaders whose only focus is how to corner the country's resources and lack of focus. We thank God that Nigeria is a able to withstand the pressure and take a giant leap for the black race.Whatver anyone cares to say or do about Nigerians, we are still African and our brothers keeper. And we will continue to be the pride of the black race for centuries to come. |

Should America have said the ZMAPP is available for Nigerians... i believe most people will throw caution into the wind. After all, cure is coming. I think this statement is more of Political. Prevention is better than cure. I just feel for those that have it already... |

all4naija: Ok, Mr. Eslavo, since you shamelessly parried the questions. Answer these ones derived from your current spin job for your government. Is a Liberian-American inferior to other Americans? Did two other Americans (whites) not contract the disease and flown back home in specialized aircrafts to receive Zmapp? Did these people not contract the disease from Liberia too? Was Zmapp not said to be untested and therefore not safe for humans when the infections were limited to Africans? Did the Nigerian minister of health not write the American government to demand for the Zmapp given to the Americans? Did the American government not claim that Zmapp was exhausted and all been administered on the infected? Did the same Zmapp not surface in Spain after that to treat a Spanish priest infected in Liberia? Did the same Zmapp not sent to Liberia thereafter? How do you explain an American having a deadly disease who knowingly carried the disease to Nigeria and willfully splashed fluid in apparent mission to infect as many as possible? We were told that a single American life is guarded with all the laser, cruise , ballistic missiles in the world, how come this American was left to his 'own fate' in Nigeria? Or are you guys given citizenship just to get 'visa to travel to 100 countries' as someone suggested here? Explain to us Mr. Eslavo. 2 Likes |

Scyllapatron: I thought they said our medicine is a pesticide?? they want only them to handle ebola so they can milk infested countries of their mineral resources in exchange for ebola vaccine?? Dude, you cannot treat or cure a virus infection.....All the best drugs out there can do is to nurture the body, provide enough fluid, strength and most importantly, elongate the live of the sufferer, this way our body's natural immune system can build enough anti-body and defenses to overcome and defeat the virus. Also, on another note, the Nigeria Minister of Health came out yesterday and announced that, they did not use the Nano Silver and that the medicine did not pass their laboratory evaluation test..google it. |

citygirl82: Pls can someone answer me? Is it that those people who were discharged because they got healed miraculously or that Nano silva was used to treat them? Govt and FMH needs to keep a lid on it....we treat our citizens first, others later I pray Nigeria would seize this opportunuty to have the already experienced health care workers and the wonder cure sent to Liberia and Sierra Leone. We have many of our countrymen in those countries. |

Ivanspring: Who asked for their commendation?Seriously, people were foaming at the mouth hours ago because the news the 4 had been released wasn't hitting front page headlines in western media though it was middle of the night there, now people are foaming at the mouth because US has praised Nigeria on a job well done. WTF? And yet Nigerians are still with their hand out begging for non existent zmapp because it has all been sent to Liberia to treat 3 doctors and an aide worker. They rightly got the experimental drug because they have the most to lose and are very hard hit. They are being ravaged by this ebola in so many ways that there are now food drops and full on village wide area quarantines as they cannot control the virus. Farmers cannot get to their fields because of roadblocks so massive famine and food shortage is feared. Many of their doctors and nurses have DIED leaving none to treat the ill, pregnant women in labor, accidents etc, let alone those sick with ebola, yet Nigerians still want to blame anyone and everything for their own childishness and lack of logic. You might not like what the US stands for, but you certainly will be first to shout when you think the US can help your own misery and that caused by the feckless bloody FG who invest in nothing for the common man, religious zealots and governor/senator terrorist supporters. smh 2 Likes |
