How long does it take and how much will it cost to screen ALL the secondary contacts?!!!!!! Yes in Ebola outbreaks fluctuations in case number are inevitable, but,if that is done then the fluctuation in case figures will be minimized. |

eaglechild: The minister's system of giving information is utterly confusing and very shady. he claimed few days ago that no NEW cases, now he is saying two and we should ignore Idris' figure by weekend or monday, he will add to the figure Government officials always politicise every thing including such a case like Ebola 6 Likes |

rattlesnake: They will.not die in Jesus nameAMEN. But if the Federal Government and the Ministry of Health have done the right thing by warning Nigerians from the borders, the man from Liberia would never have even been taken from the airport in Ikeja to Obalende! And immediately they knew he was from an Ebola country Liberia, nobody should have touched him. He should have been quarantined at the airport. The unfortunate Nigerians who have lost their precious lives in the tragic circumstances of government failure would have been alive and well today. 6 Likes |

Mr. Sawyer’s action, he said, has placed unnecessary stress on Nigeria’s health system. unnecessary stress he says , a system that was crippled before now , this Ebola issue has further revealed how derelict the health system is . walk the walk oga minister , at some point you are expected to justify your hefty salary 10 Likes |

The incompetence of this health Minister has no equal, did he not Come out few days ago to declare that the country is free of ebola at the moment and he even got international commendations for tackling the virus with all available means. How does he now expect Nigerians to react to this development? He should just tender his resignation, he doesn't know the number of primary and secondary contacts, why declaring the country ebola free? Our health system is already a shadow of itself since 1960. 8 Likes |
