shymexx: This is just absolutely shameful, and when you start telling them the truth, by critiquing based on the truth - the rabid attack dogs will start saying you hate the country.

Nigeria has been using Mi-35 for more than 7 years now. And it's an old attack helicopter. If you're going to modernise the Nigerian military, why not go for the Mil Mi-28, which is a better, and an all purpose one? Little countries like: Kenya, Angola, and Algeria have it. So, what's stopping Nigeria from doing the same? Also, for Boko Haram, it will be more effective than the Mi-35M.

And if they want to go for the kill, they should've gone for the KA-50.

These folks are just too corrupt.

Abeg close ur mouth...ITK.

Where are the picshures of Kenyan Mi-28 and Apache?
Bloody liars!
You need pictures? But how, in this case will u be able to tell if those pics are indeed from kenya? The info is right on google. Kenya begun the process of acquiring the copters way back 2011. 16copers were purchased in 2013, they are used to fight the alshabab in somalia. Please google that.

Kenya has no MI-28 helicopters. The only country acquiring MI-28NE 'havoc' attack helicopters in Africa is Algeria. Algeria placed an order for 42 MI-28NE helicopters.

The kenyans photoshoped 3 Russian MI-28 helicopters flying at Russia's Victory parade, and placed their(kenyan flag) symbol on them. I hold nothing against Kenya, I would be happy for them if they eventually place an order for the MI-28, however as at this moment kenya does not have MI-28 helicopters. The Kenyans fly the Z-9wa and Hughes MD 500 defender for attack role.

The MI-35M helicopter we have is a state of the art gunship. An all weather, day and night attack helicopter, with modern avionics. It's an helicopter we can be very proud of.

We do not need a new platform our Air personnel aren't conversant with. Plus BVST has an MI-35 maintenance facility in Nigeria, so why change. We don't need the MI-28.

APC attack dogs will criticise everything, including the side of the bed the president woke up from and the way he walks, just to justify their pay.
