Hello Agnes,

We have gone through our records and as you pointed here that you are being charged outrageously, we will like to clarify you on your shipping charge. First note that the cost for your shipment is based on the package weight and dimensions. As such you have the actual versus chargeable Weight - This is programmed into the system and it is based on the same formular that is used by all shipping companies.
Also, the Chargeable Weight = L x W x H /139 and it is the same with other major shippers like DHL and UPS and Fedex. The final packaged weight more often than not differs slightly from the weight you see online. To combat this and to be sure customers know the actual shipping cost even before shopping, we have the 'Item Quote Tool' online that enables you to enter the actual item and a shipping cost is displayed.

I shipped some items to your US address which is supposed to be seen as drop off but I am being charged an outrageous fee for the shipment of the items. Also the weight you arrived at is higher than the weight of items i shipped.
I also don't understand what you mean by actual weight and chargeable weight. Please, kindly look into this as the shipping price you are quoting is more than the total price of the items in question.

This is my 6th order/delivery since June 2015 when I started using Shoptomydoor.

Looks like Shoptomydoor is improving, the delivery came 4 days ahead of the planned delivery date.
Also, the missing items that could not confirm before in my warehouse finally appear with the delivery.
So nothing is lost and everything is well packed as usual.

This is me again....

This is my third order with shoptomydoor.... still have another order that I am still waiting for to be delivered.

Honestly the fact that I could shop from some shops in the UK with my UK address was the best thing that happened since slice bread.

Shoptomydoor is not perfect but they are getting better. I had some issues but their customer service assisted to resolve them. Yes, their response time might not be perfect but I know they are working towards something better. Stick to the rules and you will be fine. Label and address your packages appropriately for ease of identification.

I'm one happy customer.

Same issue. Have a package weight 14.8lbs yet been charged 22.2 even though i requested for removal of shoe boxes. Still yet to understand why the weight must be much. Ironically i used another shipping company whose charge was 100$ for 20lbs and additional charges of for over 20lbs. Based on their charge,it is far better as i am charged the way the package came in and not like this case that is having higher weight value for same item. I wish i can post a new thread about the horrible service i received from your company.
1st. All that story about chargeable weight is hogwash. I have just received a shipment 69868 based on all that story. Can you imagine that the shipment was incomplete?. What is the essence of chargeable weight and my shipment did not arrive the way you said it should be??. Forget their sea route,as i speak,i used the sea route in june and july. Yet to see anything.I am rather told after series of phone calls that my July shipment will be sent end of September (hopefully ). Your site says 2xs a month shipment,that sign should be taken down because it is highly misleading. I truly regret sending my items through shop to my door. I used Speedpack once owned by Francis Van Larry. He charged $100 for 20lbs which is great because the weight is as the company sent it and not adding fictious weight to one's goods. I've stopped travelling to shop in the USA/UK every summer since I discovered shoptomydoor.

I have a package with shipment no:78231 Dimensions:17.00x13.00x6.00. I need this to be repackaged because the carton is just too big for a sleek 15" laptop. I have forwarded a mail request to your company only to be told that it can not be reduced.

Shop to my door,

I will no longer encourage/recommend anyone to use your services.

I placed an order for my package(#67445) to be shipped to Nigeria under your Ocean 20 promo since 07-28-2015 i.e., JULY. We are in the month of September (15th to be precise) and I have not heard about my package if it has been sent to Nigeria or not.

I sent a mail earlier that some of the items (for a 9 months baby) in my order are for my baby who was 8 months old at that time as at today he is 10months 2weeks old. I was told in a cold mail that my package was still in the US in mid August!!! Due to your organization's poor services, lack of proper communication I have wasted funds and gotten undersized clothes for my baby.

I referred my sister to use your services however she/we have been failed once again by your poor services as her daughter's items are included in this package. I regret referring your services to her. I can't use your services again neither will I be referring your services to anyone any longer.

The first time I used your services it was great but now it is VERY BAD nonetheless WHEN AM I GETTING MY ORDER #67445 IN LAGOS, NIGERIA?

My friend your email is not working or has some problem, I have tried using different emails and the same mail delivery failure.

Provide an alternative email for your clients to reach you and stop asking your customers to check their internet.

Be efficient and proactive.

Meanwhile deal with the negative comments on your service, it is discouraging to some of us who want to do business with you.

Hi Shoptomydoor,
Recently I observed that your (Item Quote Tool) is no longer functioning as before.
Firstly, the field that requires your state and city does not display the options for selection again but to be filled, in the end it displays that such report could not be found but to report to Shoptomydoor I believe this might be a design error kindly look into this as it has been very vital to many of your numerous customers.
Secondly, it has been observed again that when a shipment has been booked for next cargo flight, email is normally received as before but lately it has been opposite.
I experienced this having made payment for two shipments but didn't get the email nor the sms as it used to be only to discover that such information had been in my message folder when I logged in to my account. Please look into this as well.
Thirdly, may I know the rational behind the splitting a shipment into two when they can as well be combined into one consignment?
Again, this happened to me where the two shipments #78109 (2.17lb) with just two items and shipment #79530 (2.30lb) with just one item which can ordinarily be overall (4.47lb) with three items in one shipment.
I have received a shipment before weighing an overall 10.66lb with four items without splitting them into various boxes why should a shipment of 4.47lb be splitted ?
I hope this will not repeat itself as I'm awaiting about eight items in my warehouse of very small weights.

2. The dimension measured or billed by ur staff is way too much for the size of the carton i picked up from fedex office this afternoon.
I am not happy at all as you have ripped me off some money. Pls look into this and process my refund. Thank you
