barcanista: Allow them to rant and whine. During the Civil War, two men stood tall:
1. Major Adaka Boro, Commander of the 19th Brigade and
2. General Black Scorpion Adekunle, GOC 3rd Division.

Together they inflicted pains along with other patriots on the Biafran secessionists and Ojukwu. You shoud understand why the "Biafrans" hate these men grin
Is it possible that
Adekunle planned the
events that led to Boro's
death as a scheme to take
all the credits of the
successes of the division
at the time and
permanently disconnect
Boro's relationship with
Federal headquarters?
Hear Obasanjo again:
"At the entrance to
my office (Adekunle's
former office) there
was a warning
signboard ' Enter at
the pain of Death'... I
removed the notice
and flung it some fifty
metres..."

A great hero indeed.
So great a hero was he,he was relieved of command in the midst of battle by his Commander-in-chief n quietly eased out of the military. No fanfare,no pulling out parade, nothing.
So great a hero that while his compatriots, rightly or wrongly, were being lauded n feted by the Nigerian contraption,he was relegated to an almost-footnote of the annals of the Civil war.
A great hero indeed was he he started getting his just rewards right within a decade of cessation of hostilities, lived wretchedly the rest of his days n died wretched n unsung by the federation in whose behalf his heroics were performed.
Benjamin Maja Adekunle, may the rest of your deserved rewards overwhelm you in the hereafter.

Wasn't he (Benjamin Adekunle) the same person who murdered Isaac Boro? undecided undecided

RIP gallant one.

You're right. Elechi Amadi and other Niger Deltan that called for the creation of more regions that led to the creation of 12 states including Rivers and South Eastern states from the defunct Eastern Region, were able to come out of the hiding when Adekunle liberated Port Harcourt.

IHEJIRIKAisBOKO: It was Col Obasanjo who took over the position of GOC of the 3MCD from Adekunle who initated the mission codenamed 'operation Tailwind' which led to the eventual collapse of Biafra.

Effiong actually surrendered to Obasanjo and not to Adekunle
thanks for correcting that id1ot!!!

The mofo only had strength for defenceless women and baby boys. unmovable tnz like trees.he couldnt even stand nbiafran army . where fellow men were

He was used and dumped by the northrrnets he workef for.
they pulled him outta the army ,no honours, no recognition , no job, hahaha
no oil well. the oil wells were shared among ibb , abacha etc while obj was given some wells to coax him into frustrating awolowo and abiola political ambition.
they even used obj to block olu falae from winning. so hilarious.
He lived long enough to know how futile it was to fight small boys and trees.
He started dying slowly since the 70s , being a low lifer. Ojukwu died a rich man , internationally recognized , judging by his attendres at burial. Nobody even knew this one. He died in chronic sickness and penury. Awo died in disappointment too.
Upon all the world power support , more nigerian than biafrans army men were killed.
Smh.
hahahahha

i love this!
