bukatyne: bukatyne:There's nowt wrong with my English or my grammar. The problem is with you statement, which was both unthinking and unchristian. I'll break it down for those who have comprehension problems; A woman hitting a man first is already physical abuse. To say a woman hitting a man first justifies (his) physical abuse is to say her hitting him is not abusive - the unthinking part of your statement To say a woman hitting a man justifies him hitting her is base. Not only should nobody (either sex) be laying hands on anyone else, even if hands are laid on you (and particulalry a man), showing restraint and maturity by not retaliating (leaving if you have to) is much better - the unchristian part of your statement. Clear? Or do I have to start providing adult education up in here ! TV 1 Like |

TV01: First Mr. Christian, Insulting me in your response is 'unchristian' and very provocative. You could have just reworded your post directed at me or explained yourself like pickabeau1 offered to do When you are ready to converse with me, kindly reword this post I am quoting. Thanks P.S.: We Yorubas have a proverb which can be loosely translated thus 'everybody can be mean/evil, we just decide not to be'. 3 Likes |

bukatyne:First, please stop your your whining - it's unbecoming of someone of your advanced years - abi you never come of age? Second, there is no insult anywhere in my response - and nothing as snide as your initial response; bukatyne:If you didn't understand - which you didn't - or couldn't comprehend - which you also didn't, a response such as; "I don't understand" or "I don't get your point" would have sufficed. Your comment was rude and impertinent, and provocative! In future, don't make war chants if you can't stand the heat of battle. Thanks for calling me Mr. Christian - or where you being your normal shrewish self ? And please get over yourself, I didn't post to converse with you, merely to correct you. TV **and don't think your attempt to dodge the questions by attacking my character instead of addressing the content went unnoticed** ! 2 Likes |

TV01: You cannot comprehend simple posts or you are itching to 'rinse' someone today? Was I interested in conversing with you either? Me whine because of you? You must think yourself more important than you really are Next time, keep your unsolicited 'correction' to yourself and if you do not like or agree with my posts, waka pass like I always do when I see your posts. Hopefully, I expect you to get the message this time. When I need advice, I know where to go to. SMD 2 Likes |

crackhaus: I blame you sef When she claimed you were not "conversant with the bible on that "sickly child" type thread she opened you didn't deal with her well well. Maybe I should go there and continue her rinsing ! TV |
Re: Why Don't More Men Speak Up About Violence Against Women? by crackhaus: 12:37pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
TV01:Lol... To be honest, my knowledge of the Bible is not at par with that of a Theologian or a more spiritual/religious person, but I do have an understanding enough to detect when someone is misinterpreting scriptures. As for the thread, if the one you're referring to is on that topic she started on love, marriage, and submission...she's yet to reply a question I directed at her regarding 1Cor 13. |
Re: Why Don't More Men Speak Up About Violence Against Women? by TV01(m): 12:42pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
crackhaus:I was mentioned so I went to look see. But I saw where she snidishly asked for "certain people" to stay away, so I didn't post, just followed. As ever, she couldn't draw a crowd. As ever she posted some rubbish posts, and as ever, when you asked her a pointed question she couldn't answer, she got all "spiritual", snidish and went on the attack. I think I should put her on todays menu - chopped liver . What sayest thou? TV |

bukatyne:I said my knowledge of the Bible may not be at par with a Theologian or someone more religious/spiritual. Does this mean I'm not conversant with it? |
Re: Why Don't More Men Speak Up About Violence Against Women? by bukatyne(f): 12:54pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
pickabeau1: The love and submission thread? I saw a lot of theories flying around and I decided to address it If a poster is interested in thread, I will engage and that's it. |

Re: Why Don't More Men Speak Up About Violence Against Women? by pickabeau1: 12:59pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
bukatyne: No worries... I really had hopes for it.. since it will be based on scriptures and not anecdotal A thread can only thrive when there is a healthy debate and the OP brings angles or themes for further dissection If the OP runs away.. na die be that |

TV01:Yesterday was her birthday so maybe just put her on a waiting list or something. Bukatyne, you and I both know you're fond of making snide denigrative comments directed at anyone you don't share an opinion with. You did it to me on your thread when you implied I wasn't conversant with the Bible hence I shouldn't know what the discussion was about, it was this comment that prompted my going back to scrutinize the verses you put up. You did the same thing on this thread when you made this comment: bukatyne:But when he responded in a likewise manner, you cried foul. I'm just saying though, no hard feelings... 3 Likes |

Re: Why Don't More Men Speak Up About Violence Against Women? by TV01(m): 1:13pm On Oct 16, 2014 |
bukatyne:No, not by a long shot - but I'm way better at it than you ! crackhaus:Really? Happy birthday Bukatyne. Many happy returns. What would you like? 1. Anti-wrinkle cream 2. Middle-age spread reducing juice 3. Attitude adjustment pills 4. An extended deluxe rinsing 5. Peace Choose wisely ! TV |

Nairaland family section has gone to the dogs it's the same trolls that go around all threads and turn it into gender debate. Something must be missing in your life for one to spend so much time trying to prove the superiority of your gender. Can we just have intelligent discussions devoid of gender based augments 4 Likes 1 Share |

crackhaus: Really? Examples please? TV01 said TV01: And I said bukatyne: Luckily pickabeau1 said pickabeau1: And I replied bukatyne: And he said... pickabeau1: I took my time to quote the genesis of the posts so you can point out the 'I started it' you are saying in your post. If he did not understand or thought I was 'starting it', my conversation with pickabeau1 was very clear. No hard feelings and TV should put me on his rinsing list? And if I may ask, what will this rinsing do to me? Make me fairer? Affect my life offline? Reduce/increase my age? You assume some of us don't have lives offline? Please keep your hard feelings or lack of it to yourself 2 Likes |

Bukatyne take a chill pill, no one assumes anything about you. But if it's the rinsing that's got you bursting a nerve, I'm pretty sure TV meant that in a lighthearted playful way. |
Re: Why Don't More Men Speak Up About Violence Against Women? by bukatyne(f): 10:27am On Oct 17, 2014 |
crackhaus: crackhaus, I do not care if anybody assumes anything about me or not. I will wager my 3 months pay that if I see you today, I will not know you so what is my business with what you or anyone else think about me? Do you care what I think about you? Seriously? Anybody interested in a rinsing that is light hearted or heavy hearted is free I will prescribe the chill pill for you and TV01 first. I am a good girl remember 2 Likes |
