He seized to be the speaker the day he decamped to the APC. Please if he is your brother advice him to honor the invitation of the IGP if not he will be arrested.

Story he will not be arrested, your GEJ will step in and control the situation.
GEJ is thinking about 2015 and any negative news will be controlled.

You are defending Stella Oduah's fraud. You are uninformed. No appropriation. Cost inflation. The controller of Customs said no duty was paid. They claimed to obtain duty exemption (waiver). The minister of finance said no waiver was granted for such importation. Later, the car dealer said it was the waiver Lagos State obtained from the Federal Government for the importation of goods for the national Sport Festival hosted by Lagos State that was used to bring in the vehicles. This is purely a smuggling issue. The festival had taken place even before the importation. Which means a legitimately granted duty waiver is often used to smuggle (cover) other goods (not covered by the duty exemption) to the country without duty payment. Nigeria is a country of deals. There are so many things involved. I will stop here.

Nigeria is making a mockery of herself before the whole world. I have a military career experience. I wonder if Obj a retired general and two time C-in-C in Military and democracy era would have sent military and police to harrass Okadigbo (as Senate President) or Ghali Umar Na'abba (as Speaker) when he was having disagreement with them. The good thing this time around is that the senate president a soja, the minister of defence, a soja may be part of the arrangement. During the Abacha era when the present senate president escaped into exile to prevent conviction by Abacha over an interview he granted the press, we thought Abacha was a mean dictator.

What we had witnessed in a democracy under the present regime where members are allowed to vote to nominate their leaders or remove their leaders, but rather, the power decides to use intimidation, frustration and manipulation to force a leader to resign instead of normal parliamentary procedure or judicial system had not been witnessed under any leadership in Nigeria.

At the inception of democracy, Jim Nwobodo was elected senator under another party only to decamp to another party while in the senate. We have Obanikoro, Wahab Dosumu and others in the senate who also decamped in the senate and retained the seat. So many senators and members of the house have decamped and retained their seats despite many legal actions. Isa Yuguda was elected governor of Bauchi State in his first tenure under ANPP only to decamp to PDP as governor. Malam Bashir Tofa protested heavily. He said he should vacate the governorship seat. Nothing happened until he finished his first term.

If Senator Mark sees Abacha as a maximum ruler for hunting for him for being realistic and frank which eventually led him to exile, what is happening now is far above the last days of Abacha in power. Abacha is an angel.

No amount of going to blessed sacrament chapel or attending the feast of passover in Israel or any prayer in any adoration ground can appease God in an unjust ground. Those who come to equity must come with a clean hands. No wonder the boko haram case and increment in crimes and other devilish virtues despite increment in prayer camps and grounds.

The tribe and region that would have shouted chaos had Obj used crude undemocratic military and police harrassment to humiliate Okadigbo or ghali umar na'abba when in office is the most supportive of this assault on the parliament. They are the pro government rally specialist and are visible in all the areas of money making ventures of the present administration. Well done

Is it a crime if a politician leaves his party and joins another party. Why are they making things difficult for becos he left pdp. Think jonathan is taking the law into his hands. With this attitude, I wonder if he will win in the 2015 elections

We both knw the truth, the police didnt allow apc law maker enter the nass complex. if he and the law makers acted as gentlemen then he wld hv been impeached and someone else will hv been made speaker.

Even if he goes to court we all knw hw the court delays, b4 the judgement is given elections will hv commenced and the judgement will hv lost it relevance.

Tambuwals defection caused this, as a lawmaker he knows fully well that defection while u re still a legislator is against the law, which can cost dat person his seat and yet he defected, knowing fully well his actions will ferment trouble within the house, he defected, knowing his action is not in accordance wit d law he defected. He knew things like this will happen and didn't give a damn. Which means all what is happening now, was well planned by him and his allies.

Tambuwal disobeyed a court order which declared his sit vacant.

The police are enforcing trespassing and impersonation laws.

Court Order from which court and when ?
The only standing order from the court is that the status quo should be maintained. And the status quo is that Tambuwal remains Speaker until the court declares otherwise.
Abi you and the Police have a new court somewhere the rest of Nigeria doesn't know about ?

First, you must forgive me as regards my writings on the post you qouted, its full of typographical errors.

Coming to what you wrote;
you succesfully put down the process/way of money laundering, which you trio-categorized,but you didnt tell us which of the categories a,b,c of money laundering, does making use of ''unappropriated" money, for official use belongs to.
If am not mistaken, the apt meaning of money laundering, lies on the "purpose" for which it is being used.
Purpose here, means, was the money spent for personal use,or for official use?.
Let me school you a bit on Oduah's case;
Oduah's case wasn't money laundering, because, though the money wasn't appropriated(budgeted),it was still put for official use i.e buying of those official vehicles.
It wasn't recorded that she converted it for personal use, after investigation.
Therefore,it won't be said that she laundered money.
Here's was a clear case of 'process abuse'.that is,she didn't go through the normal process,to get the money, which she officially used.forget about the inflation of the prices of those vehicles, such does happen in every government.e.g,Ex-Gov.Fayemi's beddings worths over 50m,what do you av' to say about that?.
BTW,Oduah used the process called leased financing,to buy the vehicles, but the issue is that,it isn't known to Nigerian/FAAN appropriation law.
It still balls down 2 money laundry. Its used for washing ill gotten money to make it look legit. If she takes such money as a whole, fingers will be pointed at her and it will be called embezzlement. She found a better way round it, wash the money. Buy a car, lobby the sellers to fix an outrageous amount as its cost. And when findings start, it will end at the company that sold it when the financial books are revealed. Case closed, she got away wif it. That's a big crime that ought to av sent her to court for sentencing. But the govt dint wana indict their own so they gave her a pat on the back to go enjoy her stolen funds by having her sacked. Same thing is what's happening with diezanni, watch it, nothing will come out of the investigation at the end. The most they can do is ask her to resign if there much pressure on the govt questioning her credibility. Fuckiing criminals, the country is just an organized crime unit.

I fink tambuwal was sloppy when he sent the house on recess immediately he switched to Apc. He ought to have been in charge of affairs of the house ever since. If he had done that, this mess wouldn't have happened. Guess he shot himself in the foot.

Bros he knew nothin of this kind will happen, I too am surprised the executive can stoup so low instead of using the judiciary, they are using the police to victimise and harrass opposition. I am beginning to feel the government is bias and practicing selective judgement. Whenever a court rulling favors it, it enforces, whenever it doesnt it ignore.

Manny of the politcians and so called cabals today knew nothing of the sweats and struggles our father did to get democracy, now see how they are making a mess of democracy and the rule of law, abusing power.

even look at the people we hv as minister of defence for state(obanikoro) and police respectively Jelili Oyewale Adesiyan. You shd knw we are in soup.

I just pray things change for the better.

chukwudi44,

Your responses have shown that you are not informed or a crude Alaba trader. Who told you no court cases was taken up by those concerned. I will be wasting my time by responding to you.

Just mention the name of the governor that was kidnapped using military and police operation by Obj. Also mention the governor that was impeached by Obj with minority vote. It is clear that anybody can come online to say anything without any intellectual backing and facts. Reading through the lines should have told you that very few people who occasionally post have details and know details of subject under discussion. Is it Ngige that was kidnapped by OBJ using military and police operation? Mention the state house of assembly where Obj under Smith, Tafa balogun or ehindero as IGP sent police or military to connive or support 7 members to impeach a governor

What did those old men do at the national conference. A simple law could have solved this problem, and that is" No defection to any party once you are elected on the platform of a party, one can only defect after serving his / her term as an elected officer." Simple, this will stop everyone from defecting and it make it more clear that you cannot defect until you complete your term.
