So we decided to take over our project after the carcass was completed by the contractor. To the glory of God We've been able to get the following done

1. Electrical piping (conduit)
2. Plumping piping
3. Wiring
4. Doors installation in progress
5. POP ceiling in progress
6. Soak-away casted...sinking in progress.
7. Interior plastering is 90% done
8. Exterior plastering started.
9. Borehole drilled
10. Aluminum windows
11. Burglary proof.


Here are the services we currently need at the moment

1. We need a very good tiler who can install @ N200 per SQM for all 5 flats
2. someone who can supply good tiles.
3. We need someone who does balcony rails and stairs rails............stainless and wrought iron to be specific.
4. someone who can supply the bathroom, toilet and kitchen fixtures (Sweethome preferably).

on point! ....any one lay tiles for less than 400 is not skilled enough. .I am taking from experience

l have never paid more than 300 but they do try to increase the number of sqm which does not work with me for the most part. They do know what they are doing.

You are absolutely correct. They try to increase the total numbet of sqm. This journey has opened my eyes to some of the tricks in n out of the book. I guess it is what it is...

so we got the tiler for 250. I have to say he is doing it very well too. I guess Never say never!

Tiling is 80% complete...Tiles no cheap o for 5 flats!

We are almost done with Plastering still @ 97% complete.
Waiting for Brabus CEO NextHome to come fix the stairs(Step) too thin. You all don't want to see the pictures.
Gate house in progress.....We are about to roof it.
POP guy is a mess! Kept coming back for more money. this is the 3rd time now. I have a surprise for him.....

3. Someone who can produce and install good interlocking stones.

6. Good painter. who is not afraid to play with colours.

I sent someone to orile market to sourc for the tiles. Got some spanish tiles for the livingroom and then china tiles grade A for the other places.
Tiles alone was around 1.5million ish. The exchange rate no help at all.

So we are currently shoppin for the toilets / bathroom ware(s). We patronised some nairalanders but I guess we were too cheap for them or we couldnt afford them. We got cheaper prices at orile compare to what we were given.

We are about to start the kitchen cabinets and wardrobes in the next few days.

Burglary proof iron are getting installed

Gate / security house will be roofed this weekend.


We still need 2 gates...one on the left and on the right.
