VickyyB:I don't get you. I wasn't looking for any support wether male or female. I was asking a question. I wanted to know if a person cheats once, is it right to condemn the person to a lifetime of cheating a.k.a will a cheat always be a cheat? I also wanted to know if there could be circumstances that could lead someone who naturally wouldn't cheat to become a cheater and vice versa? That was the idea of the thread. Your friend picked one word from my epistle and turned it into a fiasco. |

I strongly believe that a cheat will continually be a cheat. Because I have experienced it. My ex gfs and nw my present gf. I have always forgiven them yet they go back to the same offence despite the extreme love and cares I show them. |

Nonso23: 5minsmadness: Okay since it is now nitpicking noun vs verb let's look a little more closely at the noun definition of mistake: mistake noun : something that is not correct : a wrong action, statement, or judgment Full Definition : a wrong judgment : misunderstanding : a wrong action or statement proceeding from faulty judgment, inadequate knowledge, or inattention A mistake we see proceeds from faulty judgment, misunderstanding, inadequate knowledge or inattention. Please which of these applies to the cheat? |

Cheats do it for several reasons - Some their spouse is not satisfying them, some for the sake of pleasure, some for the money and some are born that way. Just like the say " Old fishermen don't die they only smell that way" |

There is no permanent attitude, everyone is likely subject to change which is the only thing that is constant.A cheat may not always be a cheat. SirShymex:I get your point, I think we are saying the same thing, hence why I said it depends on the individual. As per cheating being a mistake, 99 times it isn't. But there are some exceptional cases especially if there was some form of hypnosis and the predator is very good at seduction, but it doesn't change the fact that you placed your self in the position to be seduced. Seduction is a gradual process, its not lika a switch that you on and off at will. |
Re: Will A Cheat Always Be A Cheat? by Nobody: 10:36am On Jan 16, 2015 |
To me it really does not matter what theories you all propound here. Personally if you cheat on me and I find out, 1000 Pastors or 10,000,000 children or fathers or mothers or kings or village heads cannot stop me from sending you away forever. And forever is even too short. As a matter of fact ''cursed be the ground for thy sake......''. Not even the law of the land can make me take you back. I would gladly go to jail. |

5minsmadness: first of all I wonder y we r even debating dis... do u knw d pain one must go thru to forgive a cheat? let alone live wit dem in hopes dat dey wud change. even d bible says, if ur spouse cheats on u, u must forgive. Bt ur free to leave d person. after my ex cheated on me, I forgave her. d straw dat broke d camels back was wen I found out she was still Lyin to me about her werabouts. look here nigga, a cheat is a cheat. u Dnt want to risk ur sanity find on out weda she wud change. my humble opinion 2 Likes |

crackhaus: God bless you!! As in, I'm yet to read where the OP mentioned in his first post that cheating is by mistake. Some people can't read, they just jump on a thread and follow the bandwagon. Very annoying. This is how the OP has been condemned for debating an issue. SMH. 5 Likes |

It was only a matter of time until there is @killjoy So good to see u here, i don day await ur arrival. back to d topic. It is so annoying that people will try hard to masqurade cheating as a mistake. A premeditated action is not an accident. U planned it & did it. Take Responsibility for ur actions. D best way to treat a cheat is to leave them. Wether they change or not shouldnt be ur concern. Just dont stick around to find out. That song Before he cheat By Carrie Underwood put it all into perspective. 1 Like |

ochon: Did you read this part: 5minsmadness: What does he mean if not that cheating can be a mistake? |
Re: Will A Cheat Always Be A Cheat? by ochon: 12:08pm On Jan 16, 2015 |
LordReed: Yeah, I read it. It said "makes a mistake" meaning it's in future tense, not a "past" mistake. And it also doesn't specify if the mistake is "cheating," meaning it could be any mistake. But if he had wrote "MADE a mistake" specifying that the mistake was that of cheating and him or her getting caught, It'd have been more specific. As long as I'm concerned, one can't 'mistakenly' sleep with another one though. 1 Like |

A neighbour of mine used to pick a new girl every night even though he has a girlfriend. One day,he met this babe who is not even as cute, young or fresh as those girls he normally pick. He changed. Before we know it,he proposed to her and then married her. Till today he doesnt look at any other woman. Once we were having a discussion and it came up. He smiled and told us that he now plays champion league so street football have no place in his life anymore. So that adage doesnt apply all the time. Change is constant. 1 Like |

ochon: 5minsmadness makes no reference to other misdeeds in his op so he definitely is referring to cheating (which is what his post is all about). Whether future tense or past tense is irrelevant to it, cheating is not a mistake. 4 Likes |
