As 2018 winds up and we enter 2019

Take it that problems will come. No matter how good you may be, problems will still visit you on the farm. The difference is that great farmers usually turn their problems to opportunities for growth and more profits.

how many acres of land?
if its something that's small but you don't have resources to fence, then employ a guard

did I say employ a guard? No, don't employ a guard,if you do, your farm is as open as it is.when he is not on the farm,he will tell you he is while you keep spending on the job he is not doing.

You can try using trained security dog/s for the job.
That's what we used and they have been doing 101% job 24/7 and easier to maintain than our security guard.

You should also be frequent on the farm when the time of harvesting is drawing closer.

How much does it cost to fence an acre plantation? Also, between plantain farming and moringa seed farming, which one is the best? I want to make a crucial decision. Thanks!

what type of fencing? wire or bamboo fencing
different cost implications although wire is more expensive and more durable than bamboo.

plantain is still the best ,anytime anyday.

Good morning lesgupnigeria. This is my first time posting on nairaland and I hope it's going to be a good time here.
I'm hoping to go into Plantain farming this season, though on a very low scale because of the financial involvements, I'm still a student @tm. Please I'd like to know how many suckers can be successful planted on a plot of land with the right spacing and how much it would cost to properly setup up a plantain farm on a plot of land.

Better Way to Welcome 2019

There's no better way to welcome 2019 than to finally take the first steps into your life-long dream of building your own business. Opening a business can be nerve-wracking, time-consuming, and expensive. Snail farming business isn't an exception.

There are many moving pieces that go into running and managing a profitable snail farm, and it can be difficult to make them align in order to achieve your goals.

It is true that snail farming is a goldmine and can offer you financial freedom. This is the reason why many are turning to snail farming —and a few of them become successful in time.

However, not everyone who ventures into snail farming business world makes it to the top. Some end up in loans and bankruptcy. It could be that they jump into it without acquiring the rudiments of the business or without testing the water first, or business is just too slow due to the economy situation. 'The Merciful Merchants' gets you covered.

Taking snail farming as a goldmine, you may think you can handle the venture by yourself, but more than likely you will realize you need some help in order to succeed

One of the best places to seek advice is from people who have successfully opened their own snail farming businesses and are willing to share what worked, what they wish they had done differently, and their results.

'The Merciful Merchants' presents you this opportunity to acquire the prerequisite knowledge about the business ofsnail farming, and offers you guidance and mentorship until you can successfully do it alone.
