You are equally right on the money bruv. If one is not contented in a relationship the best they could do is take a walk out. I don't find the idea of an open relationship plausible. But on a flip side it could be that such people find it hard to be lonely or in subtle term single, so they preferably stick with their partner until they find someone better. There are also cases where some ladies (applies to men as well) are in self-denial of being in an open relationship, cases where they know they are not happy in a relationship and feels they deserve better but refuses to admit it, thinking things can change and they can make it work, but all that changes the moment they meet someone who treats them right and way better than their present partner. I think such a people can also be said to be in an open relationship albeit in self-denial.

''Complicated'' = Unstable, Unhappy, Unhealthy relationship

Example, the time before the official start of a relationship, when your having major problems but still don't want to break up or the time before an unavoidable break-up.

I think so, there could be more to it. Also, it may not all be about being in an unhappy and unstable relationship. Someone could still be in a very happy and stable relationship but still be open for new dates, mainly for more financial and material gains in the case of women, for men it could be for more mind blowing sex. Others may disagree on this though

Well you are spot on,however what i don't get is why would someone be in an open relationship? If you feel you are not ok with the relationship and you are not getting what you want,why not take a walk? why give your initial partner the illusion that you are with him or her? Is that not 'eating your cake and having it'? You are either single,dating or married.The idea of being in an open relationship gives a morally bad name to romance,relationship or whoever practice such, dont you think so? What is bad is bad,i guess someone wanted to give a sugar-coated or stylish name to something morally bad to present it in a good light hence the fanciful "open relationship phrase".

Well,like i said in a previous post,i see guys in open relationships as playboys and they are not exonerated away from this relationship vice...i think.
true talk but let me add to what u just said. I think they are into such relationships because they are afraid of being single or should I say alone? They don't want to quit until the desired person or individual comes into the picture. Its like holding on to something which you don't like until the one u like comes.

yes mainly these snake girls of nowadays,they have many vices to cheat and lure more customers, they are never satisfied with the relationship they are inside, they are always looking around to see if any better buisness offer comes,any guy committed into a relationship with these end time girls, should be ready for dilemma,cos these end time girls are extensively used by the devil they are just heart eaters, cos they stop at nothing except the instruction of their masters....

An open relationship has few (if any) restrictions or limitations. The couple can date other people, and can come n go as s/he pleases. But don't be surprised that some of these couples do manage to care deeply for each other, even as they may share other partners. Of course the human emotions of jealousy, envy and possessiveness may surface......so d couple may decide that, rather than each person doing his own thing, together they engage in 3somes or foursomes or swinging.
