inspiredm: Hmmm. The inspired I know will NEVER release a car until full payment has been made. NEVER EVER. Anybody that has done business with you or had a business discussion with you will confirm that you are greedy as FU*CK and you don't joke with money. The way it works with you.... you demand full payment once the car leaves the port and you send pictures to your client (if the client is not in lagos) or once the car has been fully inspected. Inspired will NEVER allow you to even register the car without paying in full. In fact, the car will NEVER leave his premises without full payment. As a matter of fact, inspired will threaten to sell the car to someone else within a week (and you forfeit your deposit) if you don't pay his balance. In fact, before the car is cleared he is already calling you and letting you know that you should have his balance ready ASAP. So you now expect us to believe that you handed over the keys and "vehicle documents" to the OP before he settled your balance and you sat and watched him drive away (outside lagos). The way inspired works - he offers to do all the car documentation (insurance, vehicle reg, vehicle tracking) and servicing for the buyer at a fee. He will only do this for you AFTER you've paid him in full. It's a well known fact that Inspired RARELY delivers cars personally. This is done by his boys. So there's NO WAY inspired will ask his boys to deliver a car unless the buyer has paid in full. What you've posted here (holding on to the genuine car papers over a "debt" ) is nothing but PURE LIES. Anybody that has bought a car from you will attest to that. I know you've been experiencing difficulties and challenges in your business but issuing out FAKE custom papers and FAKE tint permit to car buyers is dragging yourself to a new low and your 'reputation' in the mud and you should be THOROUGHLY ASHAMED of yourself. I will advice anybody that has bought a car from Inspired in the last 6 -12months to check and confirm the authenticity of their vehicle papers because Mr Inspired has just admitted that he's a fraudster giving out FAKE custom papers. 73 Likes 11 Shares |

@Op I want to sincerely apologise on behalf of everyone who feels your pain. Usually when things like this happen, it is painful but life goes on. Try to recover all your documents and make sure you verify with the relevant agencies to avoid future embarrassment. Once again, Take Heart. As for you Inspired, am personally disappointed. I want to assume your explanantion that the Op has an outstanding balance is correct but that is not enough reason why the Op should be given papers that are not genuine. Just think about what you did to the Op, you risked his life with fake papers. Imagine if he wasn't able to make his way through those check points, he would have been seen as someone who specialises in auto theft and I tell you there is a part of Nigeria that police shoot such people immediately. On a general note, I advice everyone who is in business to be transparent and honest. 5 Likes 1 Share |

chelseabmw: What do u have to say about the response from inspired? Hope there are no sacred cows in this section. This is very bad. Fake custom paper bc of 200k balance. I witnessed customs around asaba fire shots at a toyota highlander who did not stop when flagged down. Eventually they checked his papers and they We were intact. Imagine if such man had a fake custom paper like this op. 10 Likes |

inspiredm: Oga Inspired In as much as I might not be in the right position to tell you how to run your business, I am of the opinion that the responses you have given so far are not good enough. I am of one of your previous customers and I have a few proof to show that you give out fake documents. I decided to keep calm because I believe no one is perfect and in every business there are somethings I refer to as "shortcuts just to make ends meet" I'd suggest you get off your high horse and settle this amicably with the poster. You can never be too sure you are still the market leader or will remain the online market leader this year if you continue this way. 18 Likes 1 Share |

Thanks for calling chelseabmw, i appreciate your concern. To clear the issue of the balance, inspiredm's balance was 125k, i said "was" because : - when i got caught by the police, i bailed myself out not inspired. - when i got caught by the customs, i paid , not inspired. - i had to lodge in a hotel for the night after customs wahala, i paid not inspired - the key problem the car came with, i had i fixed it, not inspired - infact inspired delivered the car with only one key and promised to send another 1 which i have not seen till date. please kindly ask inspiredm how much i'm owing him again? Thanks guys for your concern. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Eyop: Eyop,I'm so interested in what happened on second thoughts cos you always created the impression that the prices I always quoted were always expensive and you've never gone into cotonoui to purchase cars for your people,so how come you ended up in a police cell with fake papers and a car from cotonou? 3 Likes |

saintjoel: Mr. Gbenga are you sure am the one that used to create an impression that your prices are expensive? May be when i call you, you'll remember me. For your information,i didn't buy that vehicle in Cotonou but in Berger Lagos. My ordeal in Cotonou has nothing to do with fake customs papers but something else. |

Eyop: Boss, how many times will I tell people that berger is filled with accidented vehicles smuggled out of cotonou with fake duty papers, that's why they're always cheap but customers will still go at the end of day and get stuck with customs on their way out of lagos. No pun intended boss but I was just surprised when you stated your experience in cotonou and I'm sorry. |
Re: Funny Activities Of "Inspired Autos" (Fake Custom Papers And Tint Permit) by Eyop: 11:07pm On Jan 20, 2015 |
saintjoel: 90% (if not more) of cars at Berger is from Cotonou and few from Tincan Lagos. You will also find accidented vehicles, stolen vehicles(may not be much) in Cotonou and customs paper related issues depends on who's handling the paperwork for you. I do mine at Idiroko border because i have a Customs officer there who was in Seme border before transferred. Like i said,my ordeal @ Cotonou had nothing to do with fake papers. |

What do u have to say about the response from inspired? Hope there are no sacred cows in this section. This is very bad. Fake custom paper bc of 200k balance. I witnessed customs around asaba fire shots at a toyota highlander who did not stop when flagged down. Eventually they checked his papers and they We were intact. Imagine if such man had a fake custom paper like this op. This shows what we've always told our customers but trust Nigerians, they'll keep telling you that they saw a car on they streets of lagos with cheaper prices. With high regards to Inspired cos he's my boss, many of this issues are always caused by customers cos they want to use expensive cars but don't want to spread the cash. I'm an agent and I clear vehicles through customs at seme and idiroko but one problem I've always had as been customers who have refused to believe that even Lagos ports aren't immune from fake duty papers,we even have instances where vehicles are smuggled from cotonou through paces like Niger/lagos routes and they're sold as lagos cleared cars in places like Abuja/port harcourt or lagos. That's why customs introduced what we call "CUSTOMS VERIFICATION NUMBER" or "C-NUMBER" so that importers can verify if papers are authentic. When customers tell me that they've seen cars for cheaper prices or someone has promised to import for cheaper prices, the first question I ask is if they've seen the duty papers and verified if it's genuine or if they're sure the dealer will not import an accidented vehicle and at the end,the same customers will sneak into Cotonou/lagos get scammed and still face custom issues on their way out of lagos but at the end, they'll never admit that they make wrong choices. Cotonou like they'll make you believe offers varieties when it comes to making choices but at the end,it all comes down to making the right choice, not been greedy or self centered or moving with the right agent. To inspired,we all have our bad days and believe me when I say that I know what you're experiencing,I've been there but at the end,you learn to make amends. 2 Likes |
