AbuMikey:Distrust-yeah it can wreck a marriage. If you are so truthful, tel me after sleeping with your girlfriend you've never wondered who else she must have slept with? It happens everyday |

Kachisbarbie: But a real virgin has SELF CONTROL . that's why she's one, unlike a sex addict who would rush outside immediately to an extra marital affair. No matter how much we try to bend it, with a virgin you trust... You are comfortable atleast in terms of cheating. |

urhmm... pls lemme b brutally frank here and hope (against all hope) dat I'll escape bein pelted to death by them e-warriors! @ Kachisbarbie, l can identify wit u; l feel pained wen peeps use holy books or religion as a veneer thinly veiling their true vile selves. lt is a sad fact that many religious bigots in a stunning display of fanaticism, write off certain acts as "bad" without ever caring to show what makes these "bad" things bad. U can guess d natural consequence: d birth of a race of hypocritically ambivalent individuals who viciously and openly criticize that which they secretly long for! U can understand then, Mizmycoli, y ur thread immediately arrested my attention. D issues u regularly raise, betray u as a sagacious lady hence d reason 'l fit die on top ur matter' (in Wizkid's voice). Still my views on issues like this bulldoze against popular opinion. A load of secular researchers hav been able to highlight som ill-effects of PMS. (lolz.. PMS is Pre Menstrual Syndrome o, Mizmycoli) Unfortunately, l cannot at this time reference any such works. Still, IMO, those who espouse PMS argue against logic. Sex is a pleasurable and deeply satisfying natural experience. There is NOTHING innately wrong or sinful in sexual activity. Any who argue otherwise are merely parading ignorance. Whereas l hv tons of scriptures supportin dis view, lemme stock to d 'no-bible' tenet of this thread! However, like a sharp knife, sex can so easily vacillate frm useful tool to deadly weapon - when abused! Lemme analogize sex wit alcohol consumption: many countries legislate a legal drinking age - it is assumed (rightly or wrongly) that any below d legal drinking age cant handle their liquor well. Sex too, can become extremely unmanageable and problematic under given circumstances - when premarital or extramarital. Self control or self restraint is a critical virtue. Sadly consumerism preaches a different gospel: slogans like 'give urself a treat', 'why settle for less when u can hav it all?', 'who says u cant be all u wanna be?' are all too familiar. D msg is clear: self indulgence and self gratification are glorified and enthroned as noble virtues.. So everyone keeps trying albeit unsuccessfully to hav their cake and eat it. Premarital sex comes at a steep price: u go gree pay?? We kno better so #WeHaveDecided# Make l shut up for now... |
