Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has faulted claims by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, that Nigeria’s economy is not in good shape.

Omokri, took to micro-blogging site-Twitter to debunk the allegation of Gen. Buhari who addressed the Chatham House, London, Thursday.

“Facts are sacred opinion is free. Anyone disparaging Nigeria’s economic progress is living in denial,” he posted with accompanying images of the verdict of international organisations that Nigeria’s economy is on the positive side.
New York-based financial software, data and media company, Bloomberg, Wednesday, projected Nigeria as the sixth fastest economies in 2015, ahead of United Arabs Emirate, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Mexico among others.

It will be recalled that CNN Money, a business analysis programme, in January, listed Nigeria as one of the fastest growing economies for 2015. According to the report, in 2014, Nigeria’s Economy grew by 7.1 per cent.

It said that in 2015 the economy was expected to grow by another 7 per cent.

Global professional services firm, KPMG, also praised the ongoing $13 billion high speed rail project that is expected to transverse 10 states in the country, listing it and the trans-Saharan natural gas project among the top 100 infrastructure in the world.
United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD, said that Nigeria has the 4th highest rate of investment return in the world; International Food Policy Research Institute said that hunger in Nigeria is reducing, while the World Bank said that poverty in Nigeria is down by 2%. Recent rating by Transparency International also shown that corruption has reduced.

As always Buhari does not care if Nigeria Burns

He does not care all the corpers in Katsina are slaughtered he will just nick name them PDP IT

He does not care if the Almajiri child in Daura attends GEJ almajiri school as Long as that child is  willing to burn down shops and churches on his behalf

He does not even care whether his own 150 cows are interbreeding and increasing that's why he still has 150 cows after 12 years!

He does not care about self development  that's why after 50 years he does not know where to collect his certificate if he has one

All this man cares about is occupying the seat he denied Shagari 32 years ago

Twice he has cried and she'd tears
To incite the public

But how does he expect 170 million people to commit their destiny into his hands since he cannot even remember the name of his VICE presidential aspirant or his party?

More than 11 rice milling companies opened Factories in 2014 =Jobs

3 car Manufacturing/assembly plant also opened Shops =Jobs

14 new Universities established! they were not built and run by ghosts = Jobs

The list is endless despite all their Bombs!!!

GEJ we Know !!!

He will be our President till 2019

God Bless Nigeria

What plonkers like the one who makes mockery of himself do not realise is many of our growth indices are in spite of a president who has done everything to sabotage the economy.

Isn't it ironic that a country with such growth indices has an Ebola-like stock exchange which investors have become wary of?

The Naira which is the common man's yardstick for wealth assessment is experiencing a slide one might consider a free-fall.

You can lie and bribe but your currency would make its own statement depending on how you've treated it.

Nice analysis the economy is becoming stronger under GEJ, APC govt can't do this much with a violent leader like buhari who is now threatening to cause havoc again

Cluelessness is when you recommission an already working plant thinking the whole country has gome blind
It just shows Gej doesn't have anything tangible thing to show for six years.
Please vote out Mr Clueless before he jeopardize your future.

All these rich men would sit down there in their comfort zone and start dishing out stewpid paper works telling us such blatant lie to our face how Nigeria is the fastest growing economy! angry a so called buoyant economy that the masses who constitute the larger percentage of our population are not in any way feeling its impact. Poverty level is just the same if not increased sef. The naira is losing its value on a daily basis!...

What an insult to our intelligence! angry

Buhari and all his supporters are happy to smear the image of Nigeria in the eyes of the international community in an attempt to score cheap political point

They seem to be tired using Bokoharam since our recent military resurgence and victories
