hahaha I love igbo people__ because, they keeep convincing themselves that they are being hated on. Lets face reality, if they decide to create an igbo station - do we have enough content? Do we have enough actors? Apart from Queen Nwokoye, and a handful__ who else would be in the cast? Majority of igbo actors have deflected to nollywood (English speaking Nigerian movie). That's not the same for yorubas, the best yoruba actors are not even the ones you see in Nollywood. Majority of their veteran actors are in their indigenous industry (Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo), Yinka Quadri, Adebayo Salami(Oga Bello),Jide Kosoko,Idowu Phillips (Iya Rainbow) . Carving a niche for themselves there. __ then the younger generation: Funke Akindele,Doris Simeon, Fathia Balogun, Iyabo Ojo, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Dayo Amusa, Mercy Aigbe etc. Y'all need to watch yoruba movies, the sync, cast, colour, storyline hasn't even been achieved by the igbo dominated Nollywood. Igbo people should work on themselves and stop looking for who to blame everytime. It's becoming boring. Even as an igbo person, I doubt I can watch igbo movie @gun point. I got my lil bit of yoruba perfection from watching yoruba movies. Now, I watch without subtitle sef...lolsCc:softysparky 39 Likes 10 Shares |

tonychristopher: Igbos are even ashamed of their language. Yoruba language is popular in Togo, Abidjan, Jamaica, Brazil and Cuba. Name one country out Nigeria where Igbo is popular. NONE. Racists who blame others for their failure. The yeye langauge is even going extinct. The crying tribe. Attack me, I will attack you too. 14 Likes 1 Share |

South Africans own DSTv, if Igbo channel was viable enough, they wouldn't have hesitated to put it on air since. I believe the biafra war has affected an average Igbo psyche. They always feel inferior no matter how successful they may be, I believe there is a need for re-orientation. 9 Likes 1 Share |
