An independent national opinion poll carried out around the country by a United Kingdom-based firm Kevin, Charlyn and Kimberly has put President Goodluck Jonathan ahead his All Progressive Congress (APC)'s presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), with a margin of 13 percent.

The aggregate analysis showed 77 percent for Dr. Jonathan while Buhari scored 27 percent from over 30,000 respondents interviewed in the survey.

Addressing a cross section of the media in Abuja, Vice President of the firm Mr. Vince Onyekwelu, said the results were collated from a monkey survey sample of 28,000 respondents, 2000 respondents from Facebook and Twitter, and another 300 respondents from face-to-face contacts and telephone interviews.

Said Onyekwelu: "Different platforms were used and one was the survey monkey which is robust for academic research and also Facebook, Twitter and Face-Face discussion. The monkey survey was 28,000, Facebook and Twitters were 1000 each and face to face discussion was 300.

Insisting on the credibility of the poll based on what he described as the rigorous methodology used, he added: “The information is based on the perception of what people have, I don’t know those people, the research was based on several dynamics.”

According to the firm, the respondents considered the war on terror as one of the major determinants on the forthcoming election.

cheesy PDP finally rigged a poll that favors GEJ. (how come the sum total of both GEJ's 77% and GMB's 27% isn't 100? 77 + 27 = 104) cheesy Clearly a hack job and if real prolly entirely done in the SS/SE strongholds of GEJ, considering even the PDP chairman admitted the election would at best be tight. GEJ can never beat GMB on any online poll let alone offline. Na pure wayo survey.

We welcome the results of this survey.

Let us disregard the questionable data collection utilized, poor methodology employed and the weak analysis by the authors. It is great that we finally have an online survey that predicts a GEJ win.

This should give Jonathan the confidence to ensure that the elections hold on March 28 without any further postponements.

Nigerians will respond accordingly on March 28 and we will give our votes to General Buhari and sweep Jonathan and his corrupt bunch of bare faced looters out of office.

With or without any poll or survey.

Evidence available shows that Approximately 90% of Nigerians still prefer Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to continue his good work till 2019, only about 10% are chanting unverified 'CHANGE' whose meaning has been bastardize.


Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is the BEST that can happen to Nigeria at the moment.

Fellow Nigerians, don't be deceived with corrupted word and slogan

Very good survey now that they have used monkey to survey who would vote Jonathan let's have the elections please. Monkeys will vote for their candidate Nigerians will vote for who has always won in their opinion poll.
