naijababe: Yeah I guess. Thanks. So I tried brocolli, peach, carrot and apple. Yummy. Next time I will try to use the pulp and potato puree as swallow. Eat with draw soup. could serve as a replacement for my cauliflower. |

cococandy: I once watched a video on youtube where it was said that juicing is a lot like baking Certain vegetable are like your basic ingredients because they produce more juice, you should always try to have one or two of them in your juice i.e. celery, carrots, cucumber etc. Greens: Most produce very little juice but their juices are more concentrated at least one should be present but it is really up to you how many types you add, most leafy vegetables also fall in these category and this where broccoli belongs. Fruits are essentially sweeteners and include fruits with lots of juice but some have what can best be described as nectar because their juices are like smoothies, these include mangoes, avocados, most berries and bananas, the latter category is added if you want a thicker juice or smoothies without the bulk. The spices i.e. ginger, turmeric, cayenne pepper,cinnamon, nutmeg, mace and lemon/lime - i put the latter two in these category because they add a nice kick to your juice. Enjoy |

Chillisauce: 19 miles??!! Where you hear that one? Abeg oh! It's 12 miles, not 19. *** In Sambarry's voice: You wan put cocaine inside ma pant! God nor gree you...*** But to answer your question, no, I haven't jogged for the last couple of days. I over did it by running 3 straight days in a row, for two hours each, and I'm having knee pains (again). So no more running, jumping Jacks (JJ's) or Scola Dondo's high intensive dance workouts for now. So just focusing on eating clean, my cardio (minus the JJ's), lower abs workout, and 1hr walks when I can...till my knees heal. #sigh# |
