How dare these imbeciles of "The Cable newspapers" insult God's anointed tribe of Nigeria? Its only the Igbos who massively voted the right way. 2 Likes |

They keep spreading false information all to get internet traffic and cheap popularity. At least these ones came out to retract the statement and apologize. 1 Like |

jayfolarin: Stop being hypocritical You can only blame one side if the other stayed aloof. However there were myriad Yoruba's who went on that thread to affirm that all Igbo's are indeed greedy and that the "statements" about them were a true representation of facts. What the Yoruba's should have done was to disavow such statements on behalf of Wole Soyinka. You can't affirm it, curse Igbo people on top of it and them expect the same people to become apologetic, later on. The people to blame here are the journalist and maybe the person that posted the info on Nairaland. EOD 22 Likes 2 Shares |

TheCable were in a hurry to be the first news outlet to make the lecture public. As such, could not present the Prof correctly. TheCable have got what they wanted--the sales. Believe all you read in the news media at your own peril. |

. Let see how some people will apologise as they so gullible coupled with hate to accept a rumour to be a fact. since they r so good in calling others to apologise, if not ICC will be the judge; let see if they have any iota of dignity or shame in them. Is just a pity how we populate the media spewing hate n incendiary comments about one another that the world can tell the difference and predict so easily our stand on any topical issue by our names. I so feel sorry the anti-Yoruba robots n the anti-Igbo robots too; especially the future of ur children. You know yourself. 2 Likes |

You can see why buhari aids ban AIT from covering them? They will go about lying fabricating what you never said for once. Does freedom of speech said we should be lying too? Is it democratic too? 14 Likes 1 Share |

Power of fake journalism on display. If I were Prof. Wole, I would ensure that they are closed down for good. It goes to show that it's very easy to cause problem in this country. We don't like ourselves at all. 2 Likes |
