I need a little clarification on 190 visa. I understand it is 55 points and applicant will be awarded 5 points, if sponsor by a state or territory. The question is if I have 50 points already and I now decided to go for 190 visa, am I qualify for the programme. please, kindly explain this thing.

if I decided to go for 190 visa that require 55 points, and a state or region is ready to nominate me,am I going to add 5 points to it making 55 point?

I tried but it didn't work. You cannot apply to university of Wollongong on your own because when you try to put in your details on a form in their website you will have to wait a number of days to get a reply possibly referring you to their UOW representative. Your best bet is to get an agent to assist you fast track the application process...

Permit me to contribute a little. As FutureDon said, PhD is a very tough work on its own. Although, some programs may give allowance for work, but I doubt STEM programs will do. The first year is pure coursework, from where one would put all efforts to prove oneself. Having done that, move over to big work of the program itself, with papers waiting to be published, conferences to be attended, thesis to ve written, lab works to done, and if God wan catch person, make him supervisor be Chinese; believe me, the student will a abandon work idea totally.

ERM, so I heard from people ooo but when I contacted them by mail, I was told that their service charge for Australia is 100k. Meanwhile, all these road sides agents are charging 300-650k

@Ovywils or anyone. Please which schools have you been able to apply to without paying application fees? Would like to spread my tentacles to as many schools as possible.

But my job experience has been majorly auditing both (external and internal audit)
