PDP led legislative assemblies had worse happenings than this.
How can they blame PMB who has chosen to allow the indepence of the legislature prevail if not that we have greedy fools constituting the 8th national assembly?
PDP were waiting for PMB to be dictatorial as an ex military personnel and use that to justify their pre-election campaigns but they are shocked to see him following the constitution unlike OBJ. Despite that they have still gone ahead to criticize without thinking about their misrule. If it was apga or labour parties that spoke I would have listened but certainly not morally deficient pdp that has brought the nation down.

Patricia Etteh defects to APC

Former Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Patricia Olubunmi Etteh, yesterday defected to the ruling All progressive Congress APC with thousands of her supporters in Irewole, Ayedaade and Isokan Federal constituency in Osun State.

The former speaker, in a rally led by the Governor of Osun State, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, druming support for the candidates of APC in this month’s elections noted that her coming to the party was long overdue.

Etteh told the huge crowd that she decided to join the APC because of the party’s progressive policies and the love for the masses, saying that her decision was to join the progressives so that she will be able to contribute her quota to the development of the people.

She commended Governor Aregbesola for the positive change he has brought to the state in the past four and a half years, noting that the transformation of the state under APC is glaring for all to see.

Aregbesola while admitting the former Speaker and her supporters in Ikoyi, Apomu, Ikire, Araromi Owu, Orile Owu and Gbongan‎.

He enjoined voters in the local government areas and the whole state to vote for all the candidates of APC across board.

PDP should not worry themselves, dogara and saraki in the next couple of weeks,will announce their defection to PDP.For olisa metuh to drag pmb into this matter,shows that is perhaps suffering from an undisclosed mental ailment. Imagine the trash coming from that damned Wadata Plaza. Isn't this what PDP had always wanted?? If this wasn't what they craved so badly, why their shameful connivance with Saraki and Dogara to subvert the will of their party??

Now they wanna turn around and blame Buhari for this- oh I see, they would rather have him tear-gas them the same way their democracy hero and icon did when things appeared to have turned against him in the same House last year.

As a Nigerian studying in the UK, I am always continously disgraced by these sort of news from my country.

The members of the national assembly are supposed to be the elites of the society, yet many SUG have more.decorum than them.

If folks like this are at the helm of affairs, there is no hope for Nigerians.

Could you show me where he was quoted to have ordered Saraki and Dogara to accept candidates? What he said was that, though he would work with whomever emerges, but he was disappointed that both Saraki and Dogara went against the Party’s directives.

The desperation of the President Buhari from Daura and his co-travellers in the anarchist party called APC has just got to another crescendo.. APC should as a matter of honour swallow her bitter pills, accept defeat and restrategise. By their actions more Nigerians can see through the prism of their hypocrisy as a people whose only uniting interest was gnashing power from Jonathan without having an enduring love for another hence the clash of interest. Now that things are falling apart, the centre got to find a hold but can that ever be again? After the events of recent time.. I hope this change is not a scam?

From the look of things PDP appears to be right in condemning the commotion that took place. but what comes to mind is the alleged question of Buhari's democratic credentials. i'm sure of GEJ will be bursting with laughter in Otueke. personally i think buhari should reign in on the matter and douse the tense situation in APC cacuses. Metuh may be rite. does buhari possess the democratic credential to lead a democratic Nigeria. that's a million dollar question. peace
