iamawara:what i am seeing there, doesn't worth the price. u can get all the above with less than 100k. if u have a little more cash, go for a 200amps deep cycle battery95k, 1500w modified sinewave car inverter14k, (the same as the type listed in your picture, 30amps solar charge controller13k, and a 250 or 265w solar panel..75k. with wires. thats about 200k 2 Likes |

Valto: Thanks bro. Am just making this setup for my room alone, I think a 100amps battery, 200w solar panel, 30amps CC, and 1500w modified sine wave inverter will solve my need sir.... Then mayb when I get some cash I will add up another battery and a 100 or 200wt solar panel to keep it on a long run. Or what do you see? |

iamawara:i will advise u to go for a 200amps battery instead, 100amps might not be enough for a room setup no matter how small, the load might be. |

hello house please am planning on getting a 1000watts car inverter for my setup,please any user with info regarding the inverter,because i was at chidi sam place at mushin today and saw it,so i want to know if it can carry 1 ceiling fan and a led tv..i have a 200amp battery to go with it.i got a 12v 40amp digital charger from him today..so far charger is working very well and fast,got it for 16k |

iamawara:to avoid stories, dont go for a fairly used battery. in solar setup, battery is the most important of all. but i will still advice u to save up and buy a brand new 200amps battery with guarantee. u can add solar panels later.. |

ceejay80s: For those who can't afford to buy from the stores or don't have access to distilled water, u cam make use of water from ur ac. Just make sure u use a clean sealed container to collect it, so dust and impurities are reduced to the barest minimum. Cheers 1 Like |

iamawara:The panel and battery are small, what determines your need is amount of appliances and run time not size of apartment as you are hammering on you setting it up for a single room. You should note also that the runtime listed for those devices was when connected individually and it was from 100% charge to about 10% charge, whereas for longevity of your battery you shouldnt go below 50% charge except on very rare occasions. That is why the least advisable battery size is 200ah and over 200w solar panel if you will be using as much as 50% of d battery between sunset and sunrise. |

I will get them, We do get light, but 6 6 hrs shifting, so I will basically be using the setup at night 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. 2 ceiling fans for 9hrs, entertainment setup for 3 hrs or 4 |

nepa has refused to give me light, i would have gotten distilled water from my home ac, people just dey laff me for office say i just dey carry gallon up and down dey collect water from 6 different air conditioners, since rain has refused to fall and getting distilled water scarce like gold, i will fill up 2 4litres gallon today cos wey are closing for the year tomorrow, i go cool down fill those batteries with the water, will use a filter too ,to avoid dirt or particles to enter my battery jare |

saint2ace: yes o! it does not charge fully everyday but it gives my batteries enough charge that can take me through the night , the only problem i have is the charge controller does not beep when battery is low, it only indicates on screen 10.8V LVD (Low voltage ), i will just be monitoring it, cos once the screen voltage goes down to 10.8v ,charge controller automatically switches everything off and i would not want it to damage my tv, i will have to connect the batteries directly to the ups again or monitor the charge controller |

iamawara:u may have to minimise usage. 2 ceiling fans and home theater sound systems with bulbs gotv and tv.  , when u finally buy the 200amps battery, i will advise u, that u change your bulbs to 5watts energy bulbs, look for a 20-25w standing fan(like those rechargeable type), then minimise use of sound systems tv/gotv and ceiling fan. i wish u all the best as u embark on this exciting solar journey  1 Like |
