What a pity ,with his 419 economic policy so this man is about to end in disgrace..I learnt he used to boast that Osun people are dafts . .He hardly stays in the state he governs ,jumping from Osogbo to Cuba & Lagos ,now the cooky has crumbled ..he totally messed up his state & will run back to Lagos after the whole brouhaha.

Sign that u should have leave oil money long ago and work hard internally to feed your people. You people kick againt true federalis and the recent national confab. So let those that dont want to support the reforms suffer the most.

While I may not support the call by these people for Aregbesola's impeachment, their grouse with him is actually understandable. Whenever I go out and have cause to visit places in Ede, Osogbo, Ikirun, and see so many uncompleted infrastructural projects in these places, the questions I usually ask myself are: why start projects you don't have enough capital to finish, with the dwindling allocations from FG? Are these projects more important than workers' salaries? The Governor wasted huge resources to commence these projects and they have now been abandoned; the money he should have reserved to pay workers' salaries during these trying times has been squandered. This action by Mr. Aregbesola portrays as him as a man who lacks strategic planning. Nigerian politicians are always eager to execute projects which will give them the opportunity to embezzle public funds, bunch of unrepentant and heartless thieves!

sir, find time to check the amount Osun receives from FG in the last 4 years. The balance after loan deduction is little. That's the issue. Allocation is up to date and he is owing 6 months for some. Even though he won't b impeach, the protest will go a long way to remind him that workers salary is their life.
[/b]Hi! He has a reason for this, and he has has come out publicly to state it!! Osun state collect the lowest in whole of south west! The Number of worker is much than expected![/b]

They should impeach the he goat! If found guilty, he should be incarcerated. It's high time we start asking questions how public funds has been mismanaged.

Are you OK? What the hell are you defending? So if a father of a home ran his home into a financial mess, his employer should be blamed. You must be nut.

Did the allocation dwindled all of a sudden? All the loans he collected that were meant to start and complete the projects, what happens to the funds? Why we're they not completed, despite collecting the full sum that were meant to from the banks?
you are suffering from anchoring bias.. We aren't blaming anyone asides him for the situation of the state. But the crux of this argument is that, the protest is being laced with sinister motives. You are only seeing what you choose to see. I think you should ask yourself these questions. Is Osun state the only state in this financial mess? Why not protest against other governors? Or Osun state workers or more human than other? All these so called activists/ human rights groups more often fight for their pockets than any other visible good intentions.

But the President just approved N400bn for this outstanding salary naa, did these people read that news at all or they just decided to be vitriolic on their Governor?

I read about a case of a man who had endured hunger and sufferness for 16 years, and just when a God-sent helper came to change the life of that man, he suddenly realized he could no longer endure the hunger any more, he started accusing his helper of being too slow, he started calling his helper all sorts of names, he suddenly ran out of patience.

Osun people have endured this hunger for months, how come it is now that their salary is about to be paid that they can no longer endure any further?

Sometimes i wonder what goes on in our heads.

Osun residents are protesting en mass cos of unpaid salaries
Anambra residents protested cos of bh suspects in their land

However, we as a whole can't hit the streets and protest against the mishaps in the country for ages.

Unemployment
Security
Bad roads
Poverty
Et al

Why can't this be done?
Why?
