Too much BS everywhere...

Dating in itself is a 'testing' process by definition and design. It's packed with a series of micro and macro 'tests' from the first moment of contact onward. Even in the mere act of approach, you're being sized up by your appearance, words, voice, vibe, or what have you, hitting a number/grade somewhere on the approached's scale of interest (or lack), and it only continues on from there. Most people have a few irrefutable pass/fails, i.e., deal-breakers. An out-and-out break-up, mutual or otherwise, usually indicates failure in an area. If you want to throw a few others in the mix and orchestrate some more 'tests' or whatever, that's totally on you.

Anyhoo, complete trust is an illusion, and an attribute often displayed and sought-after by the emotionally disturbed, the mentally challenged, children/juveniles (who know not yet), and the decrepit (who know no more).
