I think cheating is when you do something you really can't do or normally don't do in the presence of your partner. When you're more comfortable doing that particular thing in the presence of someone else especially when your partner is not aware you do such thing with such person.

bro, here is something to consider: at what moment would you consider that your wife has cheated on you:

A) is it when her hot and handsome colleague gives her a compliment, and she flirts back by seductively say "thank you dear"?
B) is it when her hot and handsome colleague brushes pass her and puts his hand around her waist and whispers "you are welcome sweety"?
C) is it when she sends her gf a message telling her that she is wet and hor.ny just thinking about him?
D) is it when she tells that same gf that she now think of him when making love to you?
E) is it when she sends her hot and handsome colleage a msg that reads " i would love 2 kiss you just one time" and he replies "meet me in the bathroom"?
F) is it when they meet in the bathroom and start kissing?
G) is it when he starts to handle her tittays and yansh and she gets excited?
H) is it when he brings his cokc out and she starts paying with it?
I) OR is it when he lifts her skirt, pulls her wet panties down and ultimately bangs the hell out of her on the bathroom sink?!

options E) to I)

ah ah! Guy calm down nah!! Jesus Christ

relationships are so delicate and can break on minor issues and simple misunderstandings once broken, it is a die-hard task to mend the relationship and get back the same intensity of affection in the relationship. there can be visible reasons, maybe a misunderstanding or communication gap, at times it can be a mistake of someone else, fragile relationships can break over any simple cause. the cause for the easy breaks in relationships is that relationships are mind products, subjective to each other.
Re: Does Cheating In A Relationship Only Apply To Sex? by freecocoa(f): 3:17pm On Aug 06, 2015
Cheating is not just about sex, for me, It's when you start becoming emotionally involved with someone other than your partner.

Ofcourse you can feel attracted to other people, but fuelling that attraction is cheating, it is generally doing something that you ordinarily wouldn't do with your partner around.

what i wrote above describe exactly what you are doing... you start with some supposed innocent flirting online and then it leads to more, provided the right environment, therefore i am safe to "assume" that:
1) you are obviously lacking in your r/ship, because if you didnt, you wouldnt have the need to meet/flirt/date other women at the other side of the world. i mean, you even say yourself that flirting is sweet with stranger but not as with your partner, lol...if you are "supposedly" not lacking then simply ask your woman to provide you with whatever this Australian lady is bringing to your life, et voila!

2) you say that your woman should NOT worry but guess what?! she probably does, and this is where the issue lies. you say that "you" are ok with it but you are not alone in a r/ship, so i suggest you think on how your actions may affect her. your woman dont just want your body while you share your mind with women all over the world, she wants/deserves it ALL (body, mind and soul)

3) you bring confusion into your own life by lusting for some stranger online. wouldnt you go if she paid for your plane ticket to meet her? wouldnt you meet her if she was to come visit Nigeria? if your answer is NO, then you have no reason to keep contacting this lady, unless of course, as i said earlier, something is LACKING in your r/ship, and you need the buzz/excitement or whatever.
I love this winkquite well said nd I dig

Not only emotional also chromoblastomocisis cheating uhm?cheating na cheating!
kennygee:
There is something called Emotional Cheating.

Basically, emotional affairs occur when one partner is channeling physical or emotional energy, time and attention into someone other than the person they are in a committed relationship with to the point that their partner feels neglected.

If I may ask: Can one of two people engaging in premarital sex , who steps out and have sex with another party really be guilty of cheating? In a nutshell, can there really be cheating where there is no marital commitment:- for better for worse, till death do us part?
Marital commitment or not, it's cheating. Will you kiss another girl in the presence of your girlfriend? Dating someone involves assuring the person of your love and commitment. So hey! It's cheating.
Re: Does Cheating In A Relationship Only Apply To Sex? by Olabamijie(m): 3:28pm On Aug 06, 2015
I don't think Cheating in relationship is pertaining to Sex alone; If either party should give absolute attention to anyone aside the partner then i guess that could be regarded as Cheat too.

cheating is far beyond that. if u change ur ex's name on ur fone to another name just to hide it from ur wife that u still are communicating with her, bros u de cheat. I found out not too long ago that my husband was communicating with his ex and hid her number and was sending her money, meanwhile he doesn't provide money for his own child.

I'v read somany article about cheating in a relationship. Its usualy directed to sex.
So i want to ask is there other way one can cheat in a relationship other than sex and why don't you people talk about it also?

Yes there is.

Sex is only one of the numerous ways you can cheat in a marriage.

Flirting at the office is one way to cheat. It may seem harmful. But sharing subtle jokes with sexual intents is surely something you shouldn't be doing when you are married.
Spending time with the opposite sex on dinners, outings and the likes is also another way of cheating.
Fantasizing about having sex with the most gorgeous girl in your office or the most dashing guy in your office is also cheating. Whether or not you agree, it is cheating.
Watching porn is another way of cheating.

Seriously any sexually oriented act or undue attention or devotion to someone, whether intense or subtle, is considered cheating if its done outside of your marriage

Holding hands?, Chei, may God forgive us

grin grin

i dont know about you but i am the only person my woman should hold hands with... because it means much to her and I, it shows the bond/care/affection/trust/respect we have for one another; it also shows that we are there for one another and are not afraid to show the world. now, if my woman feels this way with another dude then something is very wrong in our r/ship

tete7000:
If I may ask: Can one of two people engaging in premarital sex , who steps out and have sex with another party really be guilty of cheating? In a nutshell, can there really be cheating where there is no marital commitment:- for better for worse, till death do us part?

so what you are saying is that if you date a lady, she can do whatever she wants and sleep with whomever she desires until the day of marriage?! with no worries from your part?!

TOWNCRIER2015:
Cheating does not apply to sex only, it applys to following
1. When a lady starts conversing with ex lover n begin to recall back memories of past event.

5.When her heat beat increases when ever her partner picks up her phone.

Note: if you find urselve within the above listed u are cheating, pls quickly amend to avoid problems in ur relationship.

1) her ex will always be part of her past, and may be the reason she is the great woman she is today, you can never change/erase that. so why should reminiscing about her past (whether good or bad) be viewed as cheating? lets say he helped her achieve academically or protected her from ritualist. just because they aint together any longer does not mean they cant be friends.

2) whats wrong with that? especially if she has already told you about these issues but you havent changed... the lady is telling you about what she feels about a particular issue, and you should act accordingly to solve it. if you dont then she will carry a worry and may open up to friends and family about such issue. the fact that you only care that it is a male friend shows us all that its your ego which is getting in the way here.

3) she needs to give you all her attention when you are around so therefore she SHOULD log off... especially if you are the jealous/insecure/low self esteem type of guy.

4) it all comes down to the r/ship you guys have. lets say you dont want her to speak to her family who hates you, but she talks to them in secret because one of them is very sick and she is worried (it aint right but would be understandable), would you call that cheating?

5) there are many things she may want to hide from her husband within her phone, and there would be nothing wrong with that... things that may have nothing to do with other men/sex/cheating etc
example: she may have lost her job and dont want you to know; she may have spent money that she doesnt want you to know;she may have a surprise for you and dont want you to find out etc,

ps dont confuse LYING/HIDING THE TRUTH with CHEATING, these are two different things!

Divaj:
i disagree becos one patner should be their priority, before confiding in any doctor, lawyer or banker your spouse has to know about it and whats going on first and should be aware that he/her spouse would be confiding in any banker, lawyer or doctor

the priority to solve any emergency issue should be to talk to the professional, above all... he is the only one whose views matter on certain subjects, and wifey would certainly understand that he (lawyer/banker etc) was contacted 1st. if there are fraudulent withdrawal from my account, then the bank manager is who i will call 1st and foremost, then my partner thereafter. if my daughter faint in the middle of the kitchen then i will call the doctor immediately, and thereafter mama will be contacted; if my son calls me to tell me that he has been arrested, then my lawyer is who i will call 1st to get this kid out of there and/or the proper guidance, and then mama will be called thereafter.
its called PRIORITIES in life!

so what you are saying is that... if my woman loves to sing and want to be a singer, but she is shy to sing in front of me since i always belittles her singing; but she isnt afraid to sing in front of others, and does so behind my back, that means she is cheating?

Thank you.
Now dating is a period of mutual knowing. It is just a period when two people seek to walk together to see whether the two can stay in marriage together. It is an open ended relationship during which one or the two can choose to part and walk away anytime they deem fit. There is no such commitment that binds them together till death do them part and as such one cannot really claim to be cheating the other. Infidelity only applies to married couple. So if you find a person supposedly 'cheating' in on you in a premarital relationship, simply take a walk and look for one who can be faithful in marriage. Everyone still has that freedom during dating and courtship but once marriage is consumated the freedom is lost. Don't accuse your sleeping partner of cheating rather see people for who they are - a lying w_hore, and in any case if you sleep with a person before marriage what moral obligation stops the person from sleeping with another?
