I went to the village some days back and saw one of the women making this.I don't think many people know what it is.
In my own part of the country, Abia state precisely,this is a local torch which the people in the village use. It is produced from the chaffs of palm fruit,i.e after extracting palm oil from the fruit. It is very flammable,burns brightly and lasts for a long time.
Just saw it and decided to share it here.

Light situation is serious in Abia. Can you imagine no light in the whole of Isuikwuato LGA; from umubiala to ukwuangwu to nunya and mbalano. We need a change in Abia state. God help us ooo.
