You mostly see such greetings in official settings among the female folks. Males are trained to bow while females are trained to genuflect. You can find it when people meet and shake hands with top government officials, Kings and some very highly placed personalities. It's also used in orthodox churches, where men bow and women genuflect at the mention of Jesus Christ, in the saying of the Apostles creed and Nicene creed.
