Do they regrow trees?

Please be lengthy in your response Sir.

I don't know if regrow is the right word but there are new and improved species of particular type of trees. You definitely know we have all these research institutes in ibadan.

CROP research institute of Nigeria (CRIN)
National horticulture research (NIHORT)
Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN) etc..

So, FRIN is the one tasked with growing and researching trees and trying to improve their qualities through all their scientific processes.

It's just like having Agric Chickens and imported breed of Dogs and things like that..

Regrowth is planting more trees than is cut down.

Some mills will only process this regrowths or old trees from companies that have assured replanting process.

I'm not aware of those companies you listed hence my asking. I left Nigeria in 1986 and trees wasn't in my focus then grin

. Please I would like to see your casement window with glass of 10mm thickness.

The photo I attached earlier is my casement window, though I've posted it again. The the brown casement I lifted from Nairaland.

Now my casement is actually 8mm, I struggled at the time to get 10mm but settled for 8mm due to the design of the window.

Your design choice should determine the minimum thickness to settle for. Normally single glazed windows shouldn't be less than 6mm but if you sectioned or partitioned the glass like the white casement photo below and cost is an issue, then 6mm is good to go. However, if your design is plain glass without partition like the brown window in the photos, it's good advice to aim for 10mm. Think about it, if by any chance the hinges of the brown window is loose, under high wind conditions and the window is smashed shut by the wind, chances are the glass will shatter and smash than the white window.

. Okay, I actually wanted to see the plain sheet of glass from the sides without the casement frames. I personally use 5mm on all my windows on the structures I build and supervise and i've not had any damage as a result of wind action on them.

And you shouldn't see any damage.

They do a lot of aluminum partitions on windows in Nigeria and this adds rigidity.

As to noise it's a wash. Until and unless one does double and triple panes then I don't see the effects of sound insulation.

Good afternoon bosses,

Thanks for your input as regards the asbestos and pvc ceiling that I came for the other time.

You are really appreciated.

Me and my carpenter was at anifowoshe at ikehpja today to price the ceiling sheet and we got the 2 by 2 a back of 10 for 1700 per one. He said we going to using 40 pkts that 400 pcs.

Now to my question, The carpenter said there is way we can combine it wih POP that he will not use tie rod he will just nail them to the ceiling logging and the pop guys would come and fill the space and do scride it and do collins around the enclosed space.

I have been trying to check for pictures but am not seeing any.

Can anyone who has experience in these help me out.

Thanks again

Bro,
I have been searching for this asbestos (pvc ceiling slates). A friend used it throughout his house and it's beautiful. Can you give me the sellers contact number. My projects are in the East Aba/PH. Wish I can find where to. They have searched around Aba but not able to locate a seller.

Pricing is in order for the Cables "IF" you're getting the real deal. The proliferation of fake cables right now is frightening.

For the specified fittings, these quantities should be safe.

1.5mm- 8R 8B 4G ( ultimately dependent on the final number of external and perimeter lighting points you choose to have)

2.5mm- 4R 4B 2G

4mm - 2R 2B

10mm - earthing should typically require some metres, for a bungalow. you might want to speak to your man about that.

16mm- Load cable ..dependent on the location of the Distribution board relative to your C/over and meter points. Going by your intended layout, this should also require some metres.

Cheers
