tony1918: Is the state the only state in the Federation without bore hole or water?I agree with you, government is mismanaging resources everywhere not only in Esan land.It is all over the whole states.I still insist that you cannot link insane people to Ishan people.i find that hard to believe even if u saw 50 during ur brief stay. On the issue of the name 'Esan' or 'Ishan',i duff my hat for u? U kept me laughing. Are u ready to go into history and etymology? Let me briefly state that 'Esan' or 'Ishan' may be used interchangeably. But caution is applied when used in context. So,you should know the context in which i use both.Generally,'Ishan' is used to refer to the language while 'Esan' for the people who speak the language. Do not speculate. Few months in the Esan land is not sufficient for you to be an authority in Esan culture and affairs. If you so desire such, consult experts on this matter, not even google can do justice. The custodians of the language are found in the 'deep' communities among chiefs and 'Enojies'.God bless u.Cheers. |

tony1918:As a God fearing person, this is what you should have done than coming on social media with an attitude of 'holier than thou'. I got kids and young chaps i mentor from different nationality, tribes, background etc.when i see a 'defects' in their morals,i never attach such to their tribe.that should be ur attitude if u want to impart humanity.morality is a world-wild issue and not confine to a particular region. 'He who thinks he stand firm, should take heed lest he fall'. Keep safe.cheers. |

osicom:. My brother please ignore the guy, this issue of always wanting to paint something about others even the issues is a national problem is getting old. Can you imagine he is now attaching the issue of water to Ekpoma only . I am from irrua and they don't have water problem. Ekpoma water issue you can blame it on oshiomole for not fixing the water dam the late Ambrose Ali built in the 8os. The guy is yoruba, lagos that has yaba still has many insane people rooming the street talkess of ekpoma a town that has been neglect since the80s. In the whole edo state uselu house is the one they have for mad people and mad people do travel from their town to other neighboring towns . I have read Abeokouta,Enugu and etc having water issues too. I read few months ago how nigeria only have few mental homes and all the insane news I have been reading from lagos, ogun etc but none from esanland. People must talk even when the place accomdate them. |

martha89:My brother thank you very much.that was very objective of u.the guy was busy painting esan land in bad light.i think i have really taken time to answer those notions he has about ishan people.why i was so annoyed is the way he tried to elevate his tribe and bring esan people to disrepute. I am a proud ishan man but will attack other tribe unjustly.this kind of attitude being display by him is the reason why he will not love and cherish people from other tribe apart from his tribe. One love. 1 Like |
