Aspiregreat:The recommended duration of sleep for an adult is 7 hours in a day. If you have the opportunity 30minutes or 1 hour nap is not a bad idea, and then have roughly 6 hours of sleep at night. That means if you sleep at 10pm you should be up between 4am or 5am. We now have growing cases of mental instability and disorder among Nigerians in Urban areas which experts have traced to lack of sleep and drug abuse(in some cases these drugs also obstructed the sleep process) |

starlingslimnet:Nigerians need to work hard, make time for recreation and have adequate sleep. A lot of Nigerians are sleep deficient. The most important thing is the wisdom and discipline to strike a balance between work, family, health and play.I was in a big hospital about 2 months ago and the growing cases of young successful people with stroke, hypertension, diabetes, cancer is quite alarming. Sleep is very important , 7 hours or even more perday is the best , and if you can get a power nap during the day , by all means please jump at it .... Many of you saying the advice below will make 'one' poor obviously have shi.t for brains , why do you think many people have stroke around 40 years ? The main reason is sleep deprivation ... I suggest you check what lack of sleep does to you , if anything at all , it makes you less productive !! Hustle hard during the day and SLEEP at night , or one day ull wake up only to discover that you are dead!!! 1 Like |
