In case you havent heard, your rebel fighters in Syria have called for assistance from their fellow arab nations to join in the fight and a bunch of Saudi clerics just yesterday issued a fatwa on Russia declaring their presence in syria as a crusade and have since made a call for jihad to all moslems to come fight the good fight.
