The last time Buhari visited Duara and his precious cows, he took off from Abuja, stopped over at Kaduna before landing at Katsina.

An advance team of 3 helicopters was already waiting for him. He then boarded the presidential chopper to Duara with one military and police helicopters escorting him.

How much do you think all that flying will cost?

Buhari, Osinbanjo and Aisha have used the presidential fleet like cab service since they were sworn in.

It is also on record that one of the first visible orders given as head of state was to order for NGR001 to be fueled for him to go on a thank you tour to Chad and Niamey less than 48hrs of assuming power.

The fact remains that not a week goes by that the Presidential fleet is not being deployed.

Even Obasanjo rides courtesy of the Presidential fleet whenever Buhari sends him to represent nigeria.

The IDP visits by Aisha and Zahra to the NE are not by Aero but with the fleet.

Even the trip to west Germany, the US, India, Ghana and even Atiku's daughters wedding was courtesy of the fleet.

We are yet to mention Osunbade's ceremonial visits.

So if they tell you that they have not spent up to 2bn to which 75% is for offsetting debts then they are lying to your foolish brain.

To operate a video game at an arcade let's say it costs 10naira per hour .. If you play for 6hrs its 60naira.. But maintaining that game for 6hrs played will not cost 60naira as that would be counter productive...
Now, If you have the same game at your house, you will scrap the operating cost but bears the maintance cost.. Get it now dummy ?

A commerical variant has to be more commercially viable so cost of operating it per hour will be optimized to be cheaper.

A luxury jet like the NGR001 compensates for less load with more faster powerful engines that commercial operators dare not utilise

Also, fool, you must know that commercial jets try to cut weight in furnishing.

A luxury jet like the 737 NGR001 can tip the take off weight of a commercial jet on furnishing alone.

Their fuel capacities are also designed to be larger in cases of emergency and for the powerful engines that provide longer endurance leading to greater flight range. This also adds to the overall weight of the aircraft.

As for NAV Aids, these are precision equipment that can not be compromised.

Cost of maintaining and recalibration are done regularly to ensure optimum safety.

This after all is not big Joe transport that you are used to.
