Power is not thesame as position. Let me give you an example - in a particular church in America, the pastor came up with certain reforms, one of the elders not happy with the reforms told the church he will stop coming to church until some of those reforms are reversed. The following sunday 97% of the church members stayed at home. Pastor soon realised that he has the position but that elder has the power.

There is a constitutional power attached to certain position yet there are powers greater than the constitutional powers - you may check the influence some of these families command in the world - Rockefeller, Rothschild, Tata, Rupert, Genovese, etc. They can ochestrate the fall of a constitutional power

Tinubu is by far Nigeria's Machiavelli. Most haters on this forum are those who cannot fathom how and why a single man can wield such influence in our polity. The reason the East is lagging behind politically and even economically is simply because there is a dearth of influential and respected leaders. Let me tell you, the north will never own Nigeria again. Not with zoning and federal character now a prominent part of the way Nigeria is being governed. Buhari will handover to someone from another tribe. A westerner most likely. Stop seeing the north as owners of Nigeria alone, they have been in collusion with the west to own Nigeria since 1999. Go and read 48 laws of power. Sometimes powerful men learn how to push forward their men. Until Fashola or Osinbajo becomes president before u realise Tinubu's men are in control.
