boman2014: If not for anything, the idiocy frequently exhibited by most Nigerians is enough for certain group to sue for self-determination. The IPOB has called for a valid action to leave the cesspit called Nigeria. One wonders why the presidency is busy talking about tension instead of discussing valid points raised by IPOB. I guess lack of critical thinking is one bane of progress in the zoo called Nigeria. 3 Likes |

Apparently, the presidency are bunch of animals. Your citizens are being killed left and right and you don't see the need to dialogue with some peaceful protesters. Send your soldiers down there and see how many of them that will remain to fight Boko Haram. You thought Jonathan was weak, watch out for MEND, they are coming too. I heard OPC just launched radio station.. You boasted of defeating Maitasine, here is a new model Maitasine coming your way.. Defeat them again. I pity you though. 6 Likes |

If Nigeria is structured properly and basic ammenities made accessible to all and sundry, there would be no need for any agitation to break away. But with nepotism, corruption, marginalization of the minorities what would one expect Let true federalism be practised in Nigeria, and there would be peace every where, else Biafra and other groups would continue to agitate for self determination!!! |

mayordj4real: Biafra agitation has been on for many years now. Radio Biafra began operation since 2009 though not without some hiccups. Such sophisticated outfit cannot be built overnight. RB even predicted that Jonathen will fail the last election; it went ahead to tell IPOB members not to vote and many of them obeyed. Biafra is more than Jonathan, 2015 election or even the promise of Igbo presidency come 2019/2023. It's an ideology permanently inscribed in the heart of every Biafran. If you're sincere you'll recollect that before now MASSOB reigned. The group was all about love and tolerance based on Gandhi principles. But what was the outcome? The Nigerian government brutalised, imprisoned and killed many of them. The truth is none of the hypocritical bigots running their mouths now against Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB ever came to their defence. MASSOB was peaceful and they were maltreated and criminalised. Some MASSOB non-violent fathers were paraded as criminals and mocked. Ezzu river was the height of it all; where many of their corpses were dumped and left to rotten in the open. Nnamdi Kanu of today was once a MASSOB member. The violence the Nigerian government metted on MASSOB produced a war-ready IPOB. And should the government continue to unleash violence on IPOB there isn't any other option left but the right to self-defence as promoted by NK without mincing words. The only solution to the impasse is a simple referendum to be allowed in IPOB zones to prove if majority are comfortable staying as Nigerians. See some evidences that proved that the agitation was strong as ever: In 2007: https://www.nairaland.com/58738/what-happens-ikwerre-igbo-secedes In 2011: https://www.nairaland.com/597402/northern-army-brigade-established-igboland 2012: https://www.nairaland.com/1094433/igbos-support-against-creation-biafra https://www.nairaland.com/2660984/biafra-received-award-international-conference STV Interview on The Way Forward by the Lower Niger Congress rep Tony Nnadi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyCy1Xm1SAU It was even under GEJ administration that some Biafra agitators tried to seize a radio station in Enugu. PMB regime has nothing to do with the struggle; it only fueled it the more.
