I noticed a trend that is on the increase. The rise in deceitful house-husbands

Before now, we were used to housewives. Where the woman sits at home while the man goes to work.

There is an increase in a reversal of this normal model. A situation where the woman goes to work while the man sits at home. Please don't get me wrong. There are times when this is acceptable and they are

1. The man works from home. I mean actually works from home and earns stable income. This is accepted

2. The man lost his job and he is working hard to get another or get back on his feet. This is accepted

The case i have a very big problem with is the deceitful house-husbands. These type sit at home while the woman goes to work. They are always borrowing from the wife. When you ask them what they do for a living they give responses such as

A. I am into import and export
B. I am a politician
C. I am a businessman. Which business? They are into everything
D. Some have even started claiming yahoo boys but they have no laptop. They don't even know how yahoo is done.
E. And the worst of all: I am travelling out of Nigeria soon group. Since they are travelling out of Nigeria soon, they do not do anything. No job or business in Nigeria suites them.

Am I wrong? Am I the only one who noticed it? Have anyone seen any example of this?

Lol. I know of one and I feel sorry for his poor wife. The wife has been the breadwinner since they got married over 5years ago without him making absolutely no effort to get a job or start a business.

All he does everyday is boast of his connections, knowledge of lucrative businesses in town and his ability of turning a thousand naira venture to a billion naira capital in less than a month. This is even as he dismisses every move and wife's suggestion to assist him with funds to start a business.

The wife, who's a family friend told me recently how he accosted his junior and advised him to start a palm oil processing factory in one of their fathers land and that the business is promising. She was downcasted as someone who's idle would go about counselling people on providable business ideas without thinking about himself. Babe just dey the marriage coz of shame, pride and what 'people' would say. Such men are a shame, really.

Am sorry to say but with the way some men are accusing women of gold digging in this generation,this might be the later end of such men,because to me a man ought to fend for his family but when he start complaining about his wife eating the money with little or no contribution then he might tend to relax in his duty.
