I usually don't comment, I honestly think you shouldnt have brought this to NL,too many hypocrites wishing they had d balls to gym. Lifting won't make you look like a skeleton with abs or rib or whatever they're saying. You just av to start slowly,build ur biceps first, get a dumbell to use at home and wear that shit out till it becomes paper weight cos u need ur arms to lift and don't forget to squats too. U also need supplements, cassilan 90 is a good choice if ure nt that buoyant.lastly go to bodybuilding.com you'll get help there not discouragement. Boost that confidence bro and remember it take you 4 weeks to notice changes and people around yu 8 weeks. Never give up d dream.

Looks like you know more about exercises. Gym would definitely make him look big, i'm loving ma own now but the ish is abs. Ma upper part seems to be getting the fire.

i have been ignoring u and her too much is time to tell u guys my mind, none of you are bodybuilding specialist, u guys just wake up one morning, and u are here talking nonsense, just because i seek advice doesn't mean i should tolerate useless advice from worthless people like you and her, some of my friends were as slim as i am last three years, buh now they have hit the gym and have grown muscles, I used to mock back in those days buh look at me today, they are the ones mocking me now, i can't imagine a lady giving me useless advice, f**k both of you.

First of all, hello, fellow lean nigga.
I'm pretty lean myself, so I can feel your pain. It's tough, the swimming pool and gate things also held true for me.

1. Come to terms that in the present Nigeria, you aren't likely to ever get jacked. You just don't have the time and money needed to add the required muscles.

2. Muscles are overrated anyway. Do you have a nice face, speak well, and dress well? Yeah? Then that's good, you don't have much work.

3. Wear clothes that fit you. Not tight o, just fitted. It goes a long way.

4. Will the gym make you bigger? YES! It will. But I can almost assure you that you can't go through it. You'll need at least three years of lifting and dieting to ever become like Flavor. However, you can get a pretty decent body in 4 months if you want. Look at steps in (5).

5. -Eat. Eat like a beast. Not those little little meals we lean people like. I'm talking heavy meals 5 times a day. Eat like this for one full month before starting anything.
-Sleep well. I'm talking 9 hours of sleep. everyday.
-Push-ups and Pull-ups: After one month of fattening, start pushups and pullups. You probably won't be able to do ten push-ups and 5 pull-ups, but don't worry, you'll get better at it. When I started it was the same, but now I can do 50 regular push-ups, or 35 decline push-ups. Check bodybuilding sites to get the right types of pushups(I prefer One-legged/decline/weighted decline/explosive regular). Pushups will build your chest/arms. Pullups/Chinups will build your shoulders/arms. Shoulders, chest, and arms are the parts you want to focus on for now.

6. When working out, know that the goal is to break through your limits. That's the only way your muscles can tear. Get to the point where you can't do a single more push-up....then do 10 more.

7. Do some crunches. You need nice abs to go with your chest after all. You're lean, so you can get a six pack pretty easily.

8. Once again, keep your expectations low. Your goal is to be fit, not buff.

yes use a gym.. doing pushups will only build triceps and chest muscles. using a gym will help you gain in your biceps and your legs.

Op I must tell you the truth I was like you few years ago. I was so ashamed of my body that people make mockery of me especially the female folks. I was too slim and thin and i look very unhealthy.
So these are what I did after thorough research on google and bodybuilder forum here on nairaland.
1. Eat a whole lot of protein. Food like beans, akara, moi-moi any food that contains protein.
2. Get yourself protein powder. I recommend protein powder because most of our food here do not contain enough protein that our body need to build muscle. Go to any pharmacy nearest to you and get casilan 90 it's a good protein powder with out any side effects.
3. Fruits are very essential. Eat fruits as if your life depends on it because it will enrich you with enough vitamins and minerals your body needs.
4. Quit masturbation. If you masturbate please stop it because the act reduces the amount of testosterone that your body produces which helps in building muscles.
5. Lift weights. This is most important among them all, look for any gym centre around you or any locally made one and start lifting heavily as more as you can..
6. Keep doing all these mentioned above for months and I bet my dick you must see a great change in your body. Thanks you.
