Don't making Olujimi SAN look clueless, I know Yorubas have good lawyers and Abias are waiting patiently on them to help them rescue Abia.

Sorry Sir, the issue is not what the regularization is but what ever it is, did the Court allow him to regularize? Why are you people so pathetic? Why is he seeking to regularize if his papers are in order? If the Court refused to allow him regularize the Cross Appeal, what is the effect? Did I say the Court struck out or dismissed the application to regularize or the Cross Appeal? I only reported FACTUALLY that the Court refused the application to regularize "FOR NOW". Pls I am not in your league, so don't even try because you will just show yourself up. I WILL REPORT FACTUALLY & it is nothing to me that the FACTS do not favor you

Hahahahahah I just like this Bigchief... u are killing it... meet me at our usual spot if Ikpeazu wins grin

kingofabia Argument ongoing on the viability of Alex Otti's cross
appeal. Registrar blamed for making a mistake in the
numbering..............How come you forgot this part

The guy is being partial in his reporting, does he think he's the only one here in the Supreme Court room?

What are you people talking about?; it would be a pity if you are a Lawyer; I hope you are just a layman then it will be forgivable. Olujimi brought an application to regularize his Cross-Appeal. After much argument as to how the irregularity or error sought to be amended arose, the Court refused to allow him regularize the error "for now". It is Olujimi who is claiming that the mistake is from the Registrar but Ikpeazu, PDP & INEC's Lawyers insist that the error is from his own incompetence. The Court did not rule on who is responsible for the error but merely said they would not allow him to regularize the error "for now"; maybe they may allow him later but his application to amend was refused for now; so how am I being partisan? I can see you guys want to play the ostrich, bury your heads in the sand and be unreasonable or maybe you just want to DISTRACT me; so I will NOT RESPOND TO YOUR NONSENSE ANYMORE. Go and create your own thread and post your lies there. I may support a candidate or Political Party (AS I AM ENTITLED TO) but I am a top professional and I value my honor so I will continue to give factual reports; if they do not favor your position, I have no apologies to any of you

Wole Olanipekun seems to be d best lawyer in Nigeria at the moment. I have been keeping a close tab on him since 2007 and his performances remains outstanding. He was Atiku lead counsel all through Atiku's battle with OBJ, Atiku won all his legal battle then. Once I see his name as counsel on any issue, I literarily believe the case is won. I dey fear the man, only God knows how much he charges.I dont know why EFCC is not using him. The likes of Festus Keyamo are media lawyers who knows nothing, just noise. No wonder EFCC keeps losing their case.

Lawyers have different practice areas in which they specialise. Wole Olanipekun is an expert in electoral disputes and arbitration. Same way Joseph Daudu (SAN) is an expert in criminal law.

I am a pride of Southeast hence I am not against you as a person rather your unfair comparison of unequal States put in motion as to castigate a personality you bear so much grudge against instead of being realistic.

Ikpeazu was deputy to ASEPA Chairman and never the head. Secondly, Ikpeazu is not to be blamed for the deplorable state of the commercial city of Aba since creation of abia State.

Notwithstanding the depreciated monthly allocations from N6 billion in 2014 to average of N2.1 billion monthly in 2015 which can't even service 70% recurrent expenditure yet he still manages to embark on massive capital development (even if it is cosmetic) to alleviate the sufferings of Abia citizens.

Politics aside, you are not fair to Dr Ikpeazu with your ratings thus far.

NB: Why do you assume that my submissions are copied?

The Court has decided to stand down the other Appeals and has ordered a break. We will resume by 5.30pm to hear the Appeals by PDP, INEC & possibly the Cross-Appeal by Otti if it is later revisited and the regularization sought is allowed. Till 5.30pm then; but this is an opportunity to go refill your pop-corn & get more iced Coke; the real drama is coming. JUDGMENT IS TODAY cheesy cool grin

Re: Abia Governorship Election Supreme Court Hearing & Possible Judgment by franchizy(m): 5:25pm On Feb 03, 2016
Based on the proceedings and arguments adopted so far and with the brief comments of the panel of judges, its obvious that the judgement for Abia state will go thus:

1. Uphold the verdict of the Appeal court

2, Order a re-run in some LGA"s

As for Akwa Ibom state.
Based on the fact that both the tribunal and the Appeal court did not rely on the card reader for their respective judgements and for the fact that the Counsel to Udom has failed in his arguments to convince the panel of judges on his submissions and briefs.

The decision of the Appeal court will be upheld.

The few comments from the panel of judges before adoption lays credence to my claim.

However lets wait till final judgement as the panel of judges are presently in a short break to reconvene at 5;30pm.
