Your Computer most likely been infected and the virus has edited your task bar.ini and deleted Start Menu.

Solution: Backup and Format fast before you lose more.

This would be at the last resort to rule out a software problem.

The user may be describing log off as restart itself hence disable automatic restart

on system failure. A user can describe problems in many ways I .e. log off for restart or standby for turn off

Safe mode not working nothing will work. best bet after trying the

disable automatic restart on system failure and still no joy take it to a computer technician

to perform a full system recovery that if there is no data to backup. This would be the

practical thing to do in reality as this gives 100% peace of mind fix[b] if all attempted options failed[/b]

Please, the inbuilt mic on my SONY VAIO VGN-NS110E laptop seem to be unavailable so the audio recording device cannot be found when I want to record external sound from the inbuilt mic. Please kindly assist me on the solution to this please. Thank you.

When does it stop working ?

Have you install any sound drivers in past few days ?

Go to back to device manager as attached in your image

and click + sound video controllers

what can you see underneath

Do as Deji said. To add one or more things, try to install the chipset driver for your system model first before installing the audio driver.

just install the driver and connect the web cam and you are good to go

There are two possibilities I know of.
1. The lcd cable has contact problems, in which case, fitting it in properly or buying a new one will solve the problem
2. One of the ic in the lcd port is broken/damaged. This may require partial/complete replacement depending on the availability.

U need to get the 64 bit version of the driver, maybe u might have been installing that of the 32 bit which will not work for your system, Try searching through google for the needed driver but note the 64 bit difference,

you have the answer in your question

the driver is for XP thats why it worked your pal's XP machine  whereas yours is WINDOWS 7  just look for the windows 7 driver go to the card's manufacturer web site and look for the driver for win 7

i guess you mean it reads some and it doesnt on some

sometimes it depends with format that the cd was wrote with, if your pc doesnt have the software to read that format your pc wont be able to reat it

are we supposed to guess to really know what you mean ?

explain what it is happening, anything you did before it failed and also did you check your charger if it is working

any lights on pc when you try to turn it on etc

2. Check if the power console is on.

3. Check if the power switch is having fault

If the all the above are okay then, you have to remove your battery form the system and the charger from the main. Depress the power button for like 10 seconds to drain the CMOS and couple back the things you remove. Start the system and repeatedly press F8 and see what happened.

Try to report back herewith your results!

please help me. my hp compaq nx6310 laptop has refused to activate after installing win 7. i have used several cracks and activators which works fine with other systems but has refused to work with mine. pls if you can suggest any crack, patch, or activator that can help me activate my win 7, i will be very happy.
