Hi @everyone,am in possession of a friends Hp centurion530,P M,wireless,original OS been vista but XP was reinstalled.the issue is it trips off intermittently he thinks the fan is whirling in opposite direction so hard disk is not being cooled when it gets hots.do u think likewise?what can be done to correct the abnormally.

Dude, the serial number on your computer is not thesame as the product key for MSOFFICE.

The product key I enter is "25 world written on microsoft proof of license certificate of authenticity" label at back of the System.

and it clearly written there as product key, there is no other 25 letters or word that is 25 again.

That would probably be the product key for your operating system.

Msoffice is a different software that comes with its own product key. How did you get word onto your system?

First click start > my computer > C: or Local disk drive which means your hard drive. look for windows or any of the folder
until you see drivers or driver cache click on it and scrool down to find a bluetooth.click on it and follow on screen instruc,

Thank you for the above enquiry and do appreciate your explanations.

You have received an error message to indicate an imminent hard drive failure,
as a result windows prompted for[b] backup[/b] to prevent data loss and system instability.

Hard drive manufacturer have utility to test and report hard drive status as pass or fail.

Follow/read on screen instructions very carefully and make sure charger is plug in throughout the test.

Keep your fingers cross  it can either pass or fail the test.

Could you tell us if this XP or Vista. make and model of computer ?

when does the problem start ? Have you installed any software ?

Meanwhile click start > run > type in devmgmt.msc > press enter

look for display adaptor click + what does it say underneath ?

exit the screen > right click an empty space on your desktop > properties >

display > can you see number 1 or 2 inside the box in the middle ?

look to your right should have a box that says 14 bit, 16 bit and 32 bit.

try changing to 32 bit and look to your left should have a line try moving it

see if will shutdown if it does then is a hardware problem. if doesn't is a software problem.

I formatted my hard disc and later converted it to an external hard disc(i got a new one installed in my system).the problem now is thst my lap top can not detect my external hard disc anytime it is connected.i have changed the connecting cable but it still does not work.i use IBM T490.HELP GUYS

you should try the website of the computer's manufacturer. They should have a download/support area on their website where you will find the drivers you need for your computer. Good luck

try going to HP's website to download drivers that are specific to your computers make and model. Before installing make sure you uninstall the other sound drivers you had installed. When done restart your computer and see what happens. also check control panel to make sure your speakers volume are not set on mute.

first thing you want to do is go into the device manager by clicking start and right click on my computer and click on manage. A new window pops up and it should be the 7th option from the top. When in there you will see which devices are online or offline and from there you can find the name of the type of video or sound card you have so that when you go to the computers manufacturers site to download the drivers needed you wont pick the wrong one. Also seems like you might need to download the latest version of adobe flash and shockwave player to help with the videos online. One more thing dont forget to also get java for your computer.

Sir it seems like your computer only came with a cd rom and not a dvd player. But, if it has a dvd player then you probably need the driver for it which you can find at the website of the computers maker. Make sure you get the one you need and not just any dvd driver good luck
