I once suggested this.

DropShot:

The fact remains that the security personnel will arrest anyone who foments trouble as long as they are within reach.

The herdsmen commit atrocities then escape; no one to arrest. The people who decide to attack them as a form of reprisal attack don't always get to escape and as such can be easily arrested. So, who loses?

The state govts also must up their games in providing security for their citizens. What happens to establishing numerous, responsible security outfits in the mold of Bakassi Boys, OPC, etc to curb the excesses of these criminals before the FG finds a permanent solution?

I have always said and I say it again, the problem is not the fulani herdsmen but the vulturous, betraying double headed snakes we have with us in the southern part of the country ,who are waiting for the slightest opportunities not to defend their lands from fulani invasion but to join fulani to fight other southerners

After spending Billions on Amnesty, we are forced to go the same route that led us to needing Amnesty in the first instance...

Every person that's ever held a position in government since 1999 till date have all let us down time and time again

it's your father that would sign it into law right? Reviving Bakassi boys is a welcome development and such a move should be emulated by every Southern part of the country.

I see that the first line of defence for the Biafran army has just been formed in the coloration of Bakasi Boys.

That name Bakasi alone......

Nice one my fellow Igbo people. We must defend ourselves at all cost.

From now on Buhari brothers will think twice before attacking any community in Abia state, other South East states should emulate governor Ikpeazu. Enough is enough.
Enough is enough my brother
Ikpeazu has shown that he's not as cowardice as that of gburugburu the Enugu State Governor.
This will be a welcome development if our Enugu State Governor will like it.

This was exactly what I sugested Governor Ugwuanyi should have done, I wrote then (Instead of him to run to the people of Anambra and enquire on how Bakasi started and was operated)

They have existed Even before the governor's approvals, the communities in the SE especially Abia and Imo have deployed the youth and age grade system to organize themselves into community police and territory protector, they are armed by their wealthy sons and daughters in Abuja and even those residing abroad, this is not a child play. The Abia state governor simply keyed into what has been in place over the weeks since the Enugu massacre, the way it is now even the state and its apparatus can not stop them from functioning so the best the governor had to do is approve, Rocahas is only killing time and does not want to offend his APC party but the community militia fully armed has started functioning in all the communities in Imo State. Hausa Filani herdsmen can usually be seen grazing along the Owerri -Onitsha Road, Umuahia-Mbaise Road, Umuahia Uzuakoli Road, Mbaise Areas, okigwe, Mbano, obowu, Etiti etc but in recent times they have stopped.

I thought that the whole premise of the 'chest beaters' insult was to suggest that the Igbos were not able to follow through on their bold acclamations. Doesn't this contradict that argument?
